J World New York Sunrise Rolling Backpack, Blue Raspberry, One Size, 18"

I waited to give a review for a full use of a semester. I highly recommend this backpack and I love all the different designs. I got the pink paisley one and have gotten so many compliments! I’m in college full time, mostly online. I take my backpack with me to campus or a coffee shop DAILY. I have it FULL. I put my Microsoft surface in it, a trapper keeper, a planner, make up bag full of pens/pencils, and still have room. I did have a leaf get stuck in a wheel once. Got it out and the wheel was fine. I also had the handle get loose but a screwdriver is able to help with that. I think this is my new backpack every year!! I highly recommend it. Can’t speak to using it on your back, because I got this specifically to never “wear” a backpack again. I had an injury and couldn’t for months. This was amazing! —— Update after a full year of college use! The 2 side pockets have holes, but this was my fault. Soooo I can’t use it again next year. However, I can fit: Trapperkeeper, laptop case, planner, wallet, colored pencil case, pen bag, and tons of chargers for all the things in it and still have room. It has held up well in rain, but isn’t waterproof so I sprayed a waterproof spray on the fabric and it helped wick the water off. The wheels have not broken, but something did get caught in one. It’s hard to get in there and try and cut it free, but it can be done! The handle to roll the bad needed fighting 2 times now and it’s not a big deal with a screwdriver. I did wear it 3 times and it’s hard to get straps on/off but super comfortable and don’t notice the weight. I am happy with it and plan to either sew on replacement fabric on the side pockets OR buy a new one for next school year in the fall! Totally worth it if you have a big campus like I do!! Also, the color has not faded and seems are great!

I couldn't stand to watch my kid's posture while hauling around her overloaded backpack. I finally convinced her that a rolling backpack is the way to go. Given how much she will use it, I bought the extended warranty. It rolls smoothly and holds all her stuff without a problem. More importantly, it saves her back! It seems to be well-built and so far, the pull handle is holding up to daily use.

My daughter loves this backpack , she was thrilled when it arrived! She is about to go into first grade and she is loving it! We thought it might be too big for her, but I think as a rolling backpack it will be perfect. Seems durable. She has added lots of keychains to it.

The straps broke off! The straps are cheap but everything else is nice. Once the school supplies are in the bag the weight with the wheels adds a lot of weight. She can’t carry it on her back. She’s forced to always use the wheels. But, she doesn’t mind. She likes it. Very well made. Material is nice too. Editing: So like most people stated. The straps on this thing broke shortly after I purchased this. And the wheels etc added so much more weight. The wheels didn’t turn properly after just two months.

I got the extended warranty and never needed it lol size is ok loved the the way it expands and handle too made well. Wipes clean zippers travel friendly and more.

As my homeschooler ages, more books and more projects. I saw her struggling with her large and heavy book bag and I bought this one and it is great. We can move around from home and library, and it is trip ready. She can not study anywhere without hurting her back.

Bought this for my daughter. The front and side seams both split open in less than a year of normal school use. J World New York claims a 1-3 year warranty depending on the product, so I emailed customer service with photos of the damage. No reply. A warranty only means something if someone actually answers, and this seller doesn't. Save yourself the trouble and buy from a brand that stands behind its product.

I am tired of my 4th grade daughter having to carry all of her heavy books around in a traditional backpack, it can't be good for her back. I am also sick of having to buy a new back pack every school year. Well, this bag will work keeping the weight off her shoulders. It rolls smoothly and is super easy to pull the handle out. Some times when she sets it down quickly and goes to run for the bell, it tips back and forth before balancing but this is gravity working and not a flaw in the design. She said the first day of school everyone was interested in pulling out and testing the cool handle. As it has only been a month and a half of use, I do not know if I will have to buy a new one next year. But she walks home about half a mile a day and pulls it around all day and it still looks new. So I feel confident. Mind you, I explained to her how to put the straps in the pocket before dragging it and not to drag it on rainy days. And she actually does those things. It has plenty of room for her binder, a couple of books and p.e. tennis shoes and clothes. Lots of pockets to keep her organized. It would work great as a carry on for a vacation. I would definitely buy it again. Update: I would buy this item again but after my daughter used it for the whole school year, it is still in great shape and is now using it for a 2 year, in 5th grade. She is careful to keep the shoulder straps tucked in when she is using the wheels. So nothing drags on the ground. But it still looks great and works great!

I waited to review until the trip was over, to see how these hold up. Bought 2 of these for my granddaughters, (ages8 &10) one was pink with little fox pattern, the other purple with palm leaves. They went on a trip to Europe and their parents wanted them to pack very light and only have carry on luggage. They just got back from their 3 week trip, glad to report, these backpacks took the wear and tear of going through airports, trains, lots of walking on uneven pavement and rocky walkways. Both bags are looking really good still, no rips, no tears and the handle and wheels still work perfect. The grand daughters were loved these backpacks, they look nice, are colourful, some pockets for small items, also the zipper opens ‘low’ so that the backpack opens all the way, no digging below for items. These are very sturdy and they had the choice of either carrying them or rolling them. It was worth to purchase these over some that might have cost less, I’m very pleased with the way these held up on their trip, and there’s lots of life left in them for many more adventures. I would definitely recommend these, and if I ever need to buy again, I would not hesitate.

La compré hace como dos años, buenísima, todos me preguntan que dónde la conseguí. Si quieres algo de buena calidad te la recomiendo... si me compro otra, buscaré esta marca definitivamente, tiene excelente tamaño y los cierres, las llantas siguen funcionado siendo que la uso todos los días para traer laptop, lonchera y thermos al trabajo
