I have an 8 year German Shepherd that had her nails split at the groomer when she was 4. The veterinarian had to clip 2 nails all the way back and she has been EXTREMELY aggressive with her feet ever since. The Petural nail grinder is pretty quiet, light weight, easy to hold and maneuver. I have been able to turn it on and let her see it before using it and along with positive reinforcement I only get a few whimpers and paw tugs while trimming her nails; rather than the growls, snarls and occasional snaps of the days before the Petra Pet Nail Grinder!

I got this Pet Grinder to use for my little dog. She loves to great me by jumping on me and giving me kisses. The problem is that I have very sensitive skin and she hurts me when she scratches me. So I got this to keep her nails short and smooth. It works well once I got her to understand what we are doing. It absolutely helps a lot.

So far so good! I tried this on my doggie, she didn’t love the vibration, but she allowed me to use it on her. It takes just a little bit of the nail off at a time. So the hope is she will get used to it and not mind me using it on regularly. I’m not sure what to expect for longevity, but seems to be a nice alternative to clippers.

I've used several of these types of products over the years. I thought this product would work better because of the type of drum it uses. However like all the other's...this is still really meant for dogs with thin nails. I have a 25 pound Doxel, and a 65 pound (pit mix). The larger dog's nails are way too thick for this product...except as a simple file for the edges after you use clippers. I wanted something that would file the nails down without clipping (my dog has black nails, and can't see the inner part). I have to say that the wireless Dremel 7300 with an 80-60 grit sandpaper roll on it does the trick on really thick nails without an issue at all.

Wish I would have had this for my previous dogs, Nice and quiet. My current dog does not run from it and seems very comfortable when I am doing her nails. Variable speeds. Nice tool to have.

First the quality of printing is subpar at best. The seller misrepresented the item showing a coffee table and a person laying on the so called rug when in actuality this is the size of a placemat. The quality of the material is nothing short of crap! When I tried to print a return label:It is incompleteIt prints in ChineseIt wants me to pay for the postage to China.Amazon should discontinue all sales with this fraudulent company!!

It works as intended. The motor is pretty quiet and did not bother my dogs. But they did not like the feel of the file on their nails! Luckily it does work quickly and we are trying to do just a little each day. Unfortunately due to covid, they've missed their regular grooming sessions and their nails have gotten quite long! I would recommend.

This nail grinder is a good product and was like description said it just did not work for my dog who HATES to have his nails cut. It was a bit noisy and vibrated when applied to the nail. I gave it to my mom to use on her cat.
