There is a learning curve to using these, but they work great, in the right revolver.

Function correctly

As a former deputy sheriff I shoot a lot and a set of good speed loaders is a must have. These are high quality and at an amazing price.

Not recommended for the LCR by the maker but I have been interchanging the same ones for years with my SP101 and with my LCR 38 Cal. with no issues. But they must have made some subtle changes in the tolerances because this latest batch that I ordered doesn't function at all smoothly in my LCR. I can get them to work of course with some jiggling but they seem to be more ammo dependent. Hornady Critical Defense is usable to an acceptable degree if you're not in a hurry but Speer gold dot short barrels are a challenge. They are still useful of course but I would suggest it would take a fair amount of practice to achieve any sort of proficiency if you use these for anything more than a convenient way to carry ammo if the LCR is your weapon of choice and you feel the need for lightning fast reloads. Of course part of the difference could be that these are new out of the box and not broken in yet whereas my originals are well used.

Never really had much use for these, as I tend not to carry spare ammo in .357 or .38 often. If after five rounds you fail to hit the target, you may as well just throw the gun at them. The misses got me a two spare pouch, so I went ahead and purchased a set of two. Form and function are great. Does what it’s meant to do. And, it sure beats going in pocket and counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 as you hand load your tool of choice.
