This is a great toy! My 10 year old really enjoyed making all 3 globes. I made sure she spread clay all the way to the edges evenly, and i was the one closing the globes. No leakage from any of them. She also used small sea shells and rocks we had at home. Glitter absolutely sticks to clay so i added some coarser glitter we had to the globes after we added water and that worked out very well. Great set overall. I agree with everyone else: there isn't enough clay included in this set. It wasn't a problem for us because my daughter went heavier on sea shells and rocks but they really should have included another stick of clay. I am not taking a star off for that because it is such a unique set. Also ours was shipped in the original box for some reason. I found it on my door step it this nice yellow/blue box, which was all dirty with 3 shipping stickers attached to it. I expressed my unhappiness to amazon, hopefully they'll stop this nonsense, but something to keep in mind if you are ordering a present.

These DIY snowglobe kits are a total game-changer! Everything you need is included, from the globe to the decorations, and the instructions are super easy to follow. It's a fun, and creative project. The finished snowglobes look beautiful. A perfect activity for all ages—highly recommend for some fun!

We made with with 4, 6 and 8 year old cousins. They had SO much fun. They needed a little adult help but did it mostly on their own until the gluing and filling with water. It is SO hard to fill with water! The funnel doesn't work. The water won't go down the funnel due to the air pressure. I used a little medicine dropper and that worked great at first until I realized that due to the air pressure, it was breaking the seal on the glue. I ended up using the dropper to fill them, but had to hold it at an angle to let air escape as the water went in. Very time consuming, but it worked and the kids love their snow globes. I recommend using hot glue to seal them instead of just what comes with the kit though. I also wish the company had 2 holes in the bottom, one for filling with water and one for letting the air escape and then just have plugs for them both. I think this would make filling them SO much easier.

Immediate fun for my 5 and 7 yr old. They read/followed the instructions themselves. Minimal assistance was needed. It was an elf present. They opened that box and had it done in less than an hour. Definitely worth it for the low price. There can be minimal leaking which they also warn about in the instructions. But only if you squeeze it way too hard.

Could have been user error, but these were impossible to glue shut and keep glued. They leaked from day 1 and got thrown out 2 days after purchasing. It was a fun process to make them, and maybe keeping them empty (like not adding water) would be a good solution.

This was purchased as a birthday gift for a granddaughter (8) who is a big mermaid fan. It was a big hit. She and her sister each constructed one of the globes (with a little parental supervision), which they proudly display on their dresser. Probably most age appropriate for ages 5-9.

This is such a fun activity in theory, however the clay was extremely firm (difficult for even an adult to form), the glue does not hold items in place, and distilled water instantly turned so cloudy (from clay, glue, etc) that we could not even see the items in the snow globe. We were very disappointed with this craft toy.

The box arrived in squashed condition and with bottom flap almost opened despite having 2 sealing stickers, so I couldn’t use it as a gift as I had initially intended to. Gave it to my kids to play with instead, but one cover dropped and immediately cracked and was rendered useless. Then the mermaid dropped on the floor and for some reason the resin was so brittle that the mermaid also broke into pieces! There was just enough clay to share between the remaining 2 snow globes if used sparingly, so I would think that there won’t be enough clay for 3 globes. Followed the instructions, glued on the cover as the last step and left it to dry till the next day….but the cover easily came off despite the glue.

Solo viene tres figuras ( Santa, reino, hombre de nieve) lo de más tienes que construir tu mismo con plástilina. Te recomendó usar kola loca para sellar los globos. Intente cerrar uno con el pegamiento incluido en la caja y sale agua del globo. Las otras los cerré con kola loca y no sale ni una gota de agua.

This was lots of fun to do! The kids loved it. I did have to do most of the mixing of the clay for them but that wasn’t a big deal. We made them months ago and they still look cute.

They were just alright. I’d never buy again. The clay inside was really hard to work with. It didn’t mix easy, especially for a 4 year old. Instructions were super easy to follow. It was a quick replacement for a broken snow globe
