Good product
Because of working from home, I had to run an ethernet cord across my hallway to my living room to the router ( I only needed a 30 inch cover, not the 5 footer). Not beautiful, but delivered the next day, which I needed (the "wood grain" covers that match my floors take longer for delivery...might look into that later). Easy to flatten out. I just used a blow dyer for five minutes and stepped on it at the same time. Worked perfectly. I anticipate it will keep the family from tripping over the cord. Does the job.

Pretty sweet even for home use!
More colors! I wish this one was in a few more colors honestly. But works GREAT. Doesn't look out of place at all but it would be cool if it was in some wood grain colors. I used this to bridge the gap between the transition on the floor between my small atrium and my living room. I tore up the actual floor transition - installed the cord into this Cord Cover cut it down about 2.5 ft and placed it over the exposed gap and actually applied a nice lie of caulk to hold it down. Once it dried it looks better than the original transition! Love it. I only used one cord with this. There was space between my cord destination and this cord cover that was not covered but it happened to run the cord along a wall so I also ordered this cable clips here (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DFZRH12/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_10) and ran the cord along my baseboard and nailed the cable clips into there. Worked like a charm. Now my TV has power!

nice and heavy, stays in place, flat
Unfurled the loose spiral configuration it was shipped in, put the 10-ft piece flat on a tile floor with four heavy'ish boxes on top, and by next day it was close to all flat. The thick rubber was relatively easy to cut with an x-acto knife. I'm using a 5-ft piece between the wall and my computer table in the center of the room. Floor is tile. I cut a 1" semi-circular notch at each end of the center channel so the cords could go up the wall and cover could fit closer to wall. I've got two 12-ga AC cables running through the center channel, one for APC UPS and other for heavy-duty Belkin powerstrip. It's a snug but good fit. The second cable was more work to get in, but I found that holding the cable at a right angle and pushing directly while feeding it in the "curve" of the bent cable made it slip in smoothly. (Trying to push second cable in with my thumbs when flat against the slot was much more difficult.) After a couple days on the floor it got fully flat. It doesn't need any adhesive; stays in place nicely. I'm using it in a one-man design/photography studio, and it does not get a lot of traffic (mostly just me, occasionally a couple others). The exposed portion is only about 3 feet. Maybe for a longer run where there is more traffic by people who might not be expecting a lump on the ground, it might be useful to tack it down in a few places with adhesive on the underside. But overall, it's heavy, flat and sticks well. 5 stars for functionality. My only complaint would be color choices. In my low-traffic situation, I don't need it to be too obvious. No one is going to trip on it. I've got light tan tile. I got a grey cover, but would have preferred tan cover. (BTW, the grey is nice. Good neutral color and nice medium tone. If there'd been a warmer tone of grey as one of the choices, it would have been perfect for my specific use here.)

Cord Cover will not lay flat.
I bought this same product a couple of years ago. It worked fine. I purchased this one a few months ago and I still cannot get it to lay flat. I use these to cover the extension cords that lay across my sidewalk so people won't trip over the cords used for Christmas decorations. Currently I have the old one covering extension cords but this one still won't lay flat. I have parked my car on it for several days and I currently have it covered with a empty pallet. I will not purchase this product again.

My Best Option Short of Extensive Re-Wiring But It's Not Red Oak
One section of my house has very old wiring--no grounded 3-prong outlets and not very accessible for re-wiring. My immediate problem was that I bought a new TV and didn't realize it would have a 3-prong plug. An intermittent problem we had was when my son was visiting, there was no 3-prong outlet in his room to plug in his computer. For this purpose we had been using a cheap cord concealer to run a cord to a grounded outlet in the hall, but it could not handle a second cord. This cord cover easily handles two heavy duty cords in the main channel. Each cord is round and about a quarter inch in diameter. They are heavy duty extension cords like you would use for a power tool. There is still room in the conduit for a smaller cord or speaker wires, not to mention two additional small side channels (you'd have to thread wires through the side channels). This cover lays much flatter than our old cheap one. It's not perfectly flat but that may be because one of the cords has to make a quick right angle turn as it exits the conduit and the tension may affect the cord cover. Or maybe I should have worked on it longer out of the box, to undo the curve from being coiled. Maybe it will get better with time, but it's good enough for me, it's just barely not flat on the floor at one end. I am happy to get a brown cover to blend in better than the old gray one, but this brown does not remotely match what they call Red Oak around here. It's just plain brown. My floors are 50's golden reddish brown hardwood and I was hoping for a reddish brown (based on another review, not on the product photo). Oh well.

Works and LOOKS totally PRO!!
Excellent quality! This 10' piece was used to make an L-shaped cover for an electric cord on my front porch that powered a light-up Christmas tree on a timer. I wanted to keep the threshold area safe and neat looking, so I chose the gray color to go with the stone on the porch and I sliced the cover with a utility knife so that I could make a turn at the corner and do a long run over to the tree from the outlet. Yes - it's all wonky and rolled up when you receive it, so you do have to flatten it out. I did so by filling my laundry sink with hot water and submersing the entire coil for a minute or so. Upon removing, I dried it up a bit and laid it out flat to completely dry to its normal shape without the wrinkles and rumples. It's awesome!!

Very tough, heavy duty, high quality covers
These are ultra heavy duty, and are heavy. I was able to run three powered, USB2 extension cords plus an RG11 cord with velcro wraps inside the wire carrier. They come coiled up by go to a flat configuration in short order. At about 60 degrees F, it took about ten minutes for the covers to completely flatten out. The advertisement suggests that the covers could take automobile traffic, and while I have not driven any cars over them, they clearly appear capable. I am in the long habit of buying the higher quality, more rugged items as I have found that to be less expensive over the long term. This is a prime example of spending a bit more to save money. I have had lesser cord covers that eventually succumbed to rough treatment and UV light (I use them outside to connect monitors and observing equipment). These are impressive and a good example of what I look for.
