My kids hate theory they would rather just play. This book is a theory book and like the others in the series are pretty straightforward. These have been used and abused but at the end they've learned. So overall.good !!!

Well rounded program
We have used the Piano Adventures program for all our children and have been pleased with their abilities due to the program. Theory is an important element for piano and it has served them well.

Returning to piano after 30 years
Good combination of patterned melodies with just enough variety that the player must pay attention to dynamics, pedalling, and fingering. Some of the arrangements are quite flashy using many of the available 88 keys for drama. Good stress on chords. The student advances steadily building skills without frustration.
