Works great but doesn’t pump 15 gpm

In my opinion this is the best pump for the money. Works well and the gallons per minute are right on.

Good pump. Better warranty than the other brands because they build them better. Other brands boast of how light their pumps are. That's because they have plastic internal parts. Fill Rite pumps are also far better when it comes to being exposed to the rain.

The durability and function of this pump is very good. The speed is not too bad, I’m used to the 20 gpm one we have and the 15gpm is a bit slower but not too bad. It works great and we’re happy with it.

This pump is a work horse, it will pump gasoline faster than any gas station pump. The only thing to be aware of is make sure the voltage is 12+ dc from a good source or the pump will not start. I used heavy 4 gauge jumper cable wire for the hook up. First time I moved 14 gallons of gasoline in less than a minute. Beats hand cranking and I didn't spill any. Be sure to install a good filter because this pump will move sediment along with your fuel. I installed a Golden Rod filter with a see through bowl. The bowl allows you to see the fuel moving and is small enough to drain without wasting too much fuel. Make sure to lubricate the rubber gasket and wipe it dry after each use. The filter gasket supplied with the filter will easily turn gummy and seize the plastic bowl making disassembly difficult possibly damaging the filter system.

We've used Fill-Rite pumps for over two decades and used to get 15+ years of life out of each unit. They were tough, reliable, and built to last — but not anymore. The newer FR1204G models have been a complete disappointment. We have a fleet of 15 in use, and most fail within a year. The main issue is poor sealing — rainwater gets inside the switch housing, causing corrosion and eventual failure. In several cases, the motor itself locked up, blowing fuses repeatedly as it struggled to turn. What used to be a dependable, long-term investment is now a short-lived, high-maintenance headache. The switches are flimsy, the motor quality has dropped, and the design clearly isn’t made for the real-world environments these pumps used to thrive in. If you’re buying this expecting the same quality Fill-Rite built its name on, prepare to be disappointed. We’re now looking at alternative brands after 20+ years of loyalty.

No suction tube with this pump, so you’ll have to use your old tube or buy one. Also no power cord.. you can get a wire at true value or parts store get some alligator clips to..

Good product. replaced identical unit that had worked for 35 years!

These pumps are getting harder and harder to find in my neck of the woods. They are being discontinued for what I would say is a "cheaper" brand...but not sold for any cheaper so when I found it available on amazon...whoot whoot. They've been good pumps in the past don't see why this one wouldn't follow that trend.
