VIRO Rides VR 230 Attitude Stunt Scooter (Teal)

After assembling this for my daughter, I found that the neck assembly where the handle bars attach to the lower section had a very odd fit. I couldn't get the included hex screws tight enough to keep the bar from rotating in the neck assembly. I ended up breaking one of the screws off in the neck as the bars never really seemed to be tight enough. Also, the ring nut on the lower handle bar assembly was very loose and rattled as she rode the scooter. Upon tightening the nut, it made turning the handle bars very hard for her. I'm not sure that this scooter design was very well thought out. I was so concerned that the rattling of this scooter might be a safety concern, I wouldn't let her ride it anymore. I'll be looking to buy another brand like the razor my son has.

4/2020 We bought this for Christmas. My 9 year old rides it regularly, but no crazy tricks or anything. It seemed like a great scooter till yesterday. It snapped in half when he fell yesterday, it wasn't even a hard enough fall to hurt my son. My son is maybe 60lbs.UPDATEI updated from 1 to 3 stars, the company was great at responding very quickly, and sent a replacement right away. If the scooter is still working and has not broken in 1 year I will update it again.

Advertisement claims it will hold a max of 180 lbs! Sticker on scooter claims 110 lbs.

Absolutely garbage, inorder 4 for my kids, 1 of the 4 was missing critical bearings completely, I returned it. After just a month or so all of them started loosening up and dropping ball bearings out from the spin base. Spend the money and buy quality. This is 100% garbage, get ready to throw it away, if not immediately on arrival you will be throwing away within just months

We got a great deal on this before Christmas! It is lightweight and sturdy. My son has even done a few tricks on it already. Highly recommend.

Awesome scooter especially for the price. The height adjustment is better than some other brands and it seems sturdy. My son can go pretty fast and stop quickly compared to our other two scooters from a different company.

Not to pleased broke the first bolt trying to put the handle bars on. Bolts seem cheap and snap in half leaving the threaded part in it now my excited daughter can't ride her new scooter and the double nut was loose and rattles around making the handle bars move front to back

The product was doing good at first and then I took to skatepark to do some simple things on ramps because it's a stunt scooter and the bearings came very loose, now you hear a very annoying sound when you ride it. As for being lightweight it isn't that light at all, I would invest money in a good quality scooter rather than this one. If your just getting for your child to ride around then its perfectly fine.

Nous sommes très déçus. C'est inacceptable!Product broken in two after being used for only a few weeks by my 10 year old grandson for whom it was a gift. That was only a few days after a possible return. Very disappointing indeed! In fact not acceptable at all!

My daughter is 8 and loves her scooter. The color is different and pretty cool, rides well & she's pretty happy with it so far.

This is a good scooter it’s lighter then my sons other one it’s very good looking and seems to be good quality no problems so far it should be good for a couple years and for the price heck ya it’s good

My daughter got the scooter yesterday. It looks nice, but the front steering (headset) won't turn easily, seems like the ball bearings are defective. My daughter would like to keep it so I'd like the manufacturer to send me a replacement part for the base/front steering ASAP. Seems like an ok build for the price. Bought this to upgrade my 10 year old daughters smaller scooter. I guess from the reviews of others who bought it that it would be the right size for her. Turns out it was the exact same size as her old one. Guess i did not read the specs carefully enough. An adjustable height would be better suited for growing kids. My bad.
