Odoland Portable LED Camping Lantern with Ceiling Fan - Hurricane Emergency

I got this to go camping, and it worked amazingly!!! The light is super bright, and the fan worked great. It was warm, so the fan created a nice breeze when I used it. I also hung it from the ceiling of my tent, & that was the only time I didn't feel it as much; however, it kept the air from getting stale in my tent, so I was a happy camper. I kept it with me at night as I went on walks because it had a sturdy handle and the light was very bright, so I had to make sure I didn't point it up towards someone's face.

I bought this for our first camping trip and it was very useful. It was placed in the middle of the tent, hanging down and the buddy heater below it. We didn’t need to use the fan to distribute the heat, but instead used the lights in the evening. Boy was it bright on the low setting. The medium lit the entire 10 person tent like a regular room light. After camping, I tried using it as a desktop fan while I work and it came in handy. There are three fan setting and I was perfectly fine with it on the low setting. I angled it so I could feel the breeze but not get too cold if it’s blowing directly in my face. I started to use it on Wednesday afternoon. It was perfect and I didn’t need to turn the big fan or AC on. Perfect solution. Continued to use it on Thursday and Friday. But forgot that it was on all weekend long. I didn’t even hear the fan running. That’s how quiet it was. Come Sunday evening, I sit at my desk to check emails and to my surprise this fan was still chugging along. It wasn’t breezy on low, it you could see that it’s spinning and get minimal feel of the wind. This lasted on brand new batteries all weekend long! I only deduct a star because of the switch. They’re too close to each other and instead of a slide switch it could be something else. Other than that, love this fan. The handle are good and don’t feel weird either. You can hang this or prop it up. Another great feature is that the led lights can go one way and the fan another. I kept the box so that it stay in great condition.

I wanted this fan for camping and when we go to the beach. After reading my reviews on different fans, I decided this was going to be my Best Buy. Once the product arrived, I was not disappointed. This fan is lightweight and built with quality materials. It was easy to remove the top to access the battery compartment. Put in two D cell batteries, and you’re all set. The different settings on the fan are a great feature as well as the light. The hook makes it great to hang from the center of the tent. This fan puts out a decent amount of cool air. The light definitely comes in handy when it is super dark and you’re trying to find something or simply get in and out of the tent without tripping over something. I have not used it enough yet to know how long the batteries will last but it’s easy enough to carry a spare set whether you were camping out at the beach or simply relaxing somewhere. This fan is set at a great price point and performs wonderfully. If you were looking for a decent size fan compact enough for camping yet big enough to put out a decent amount of air with the added light. This product is a great option.

Assumed this was rechargeable and it's not. Takes two D batteries. So far it has lasted pretty long on the first set of batteries and it is pretty useful for camping out of the back of my 85 4runner. My biggest complaint is that the battery cover that the handle and hook are attached to falls off ALL the time. And it's fairly heavy in account of the D batteries. Made from cheap plastic. Don't hate it, but also don't love it.

I have used this fan for over a year now, and I love it! It's small but super useful! I keep it in my car for when I go places, I have a fan that moves a decent amount of air. I have serious health issues when it comes to being able to thermal regulate myself, and I can't handle heat very well at all. Sometime when visiting others, they like the temp of their place warmer than I can comfortably handle, and that's when this lil workhorse comes out to save my day! I would recommend this fan to anyone that wants a good, portable fan. NOTE: It does use batteries, and is not rechargable... But you can always do what I did and get rechargable batteries to use in it!

I think this fan is good, depending on your expectations. On a super hot camping night, I would want two, maybe even three of them. The light is bright, and very nice. The fan, if you’re wanting to feel it on you, is not that effective. But it depends on how far away it is from you. It is great for circulating the air around. I probably would never use the “low” setting, unless it was a cool night and I wanted the air circulation. We have an 8 person tent, and the “high” setting isn’t strong enough for us. We usually camp in warmer weather, so we probably would need 3 set at different corners of the tent. It does take 2 D batteries, which I like, because you don’t have to carry a hundred extra batteries with you. (We have another fan that takes 8 batteries, with the option of an adapter with electricity, and the fan power is definitely higher, but you have to buy a TON of extra batteries) I gave it five stars, because it is exactly as described. For fall and spring camping, I think would be perfect. It is adjustable, but the hook is fixed, so you cannot swivel it around. It adjusts forward and backwards, but not full circle. The light can be used as a stand too, so you can use it on a table. Like I said, it depends on your expectations and wants.
