These tuners though very inexpensive seem to be of good, consistent quality. I used the original ferrules, washers, nuts and screws because they were off of a new guitar and the chrome plating seemed to be of better quality. The original tuners seemed to be inconsistent as far as gear tension and they wouldn't stay in tune. The new ones solved that problem and work great.

Well, they work. Stay in tune pretty well. Not fantastic, but a good value for the money spent. They are better than the stock tuners that were on my 1992 Fender "Squier Series" Strat. Only mod I had to make to my headstock was to drill 7/16" holes to a depth of 1 cm on the back of each headstock peg hole. This was because my headstock's holes were 5/16" all the way through. These machine heads came with 5/16" ferrules, but required 1 cm of 7/16" clearance from the back side to accomodate the diameter of the tuning machine heads. Was not hard to do with a power drill and the right size bit.

There OK tune up and hold good, but finish work is not as good as others i've bought at this price range.also the buttons large like 3r 3l sets, for 6 inline, buttons are very close together.Be careful, If you arereplacing vintage Kluson type and drilling to10mm to mount tuning buttons may hit.Most vintage mountsare closer spacing than sealed shaller type.

This should be listed in the item description, I bought them thinking they were 10mm but they're regular 16mm ones.Now I have to find ones that fit my headstock.Other than that they feel solid and look good.I would recommend them, just take into account that they're 16mm ones and wont fit thinner headstocks

Very hard to turn, easily slip out of tune and the edges are sharp. I've broken a few strings trying to tune. Never had that problem with the original tuners. Not worth the hassle of returning.

Quick delivery. 1 tuning head wasn't drilled for the string but it took half a second to fix.
