Affordable and good quality.
I love these! They work just as good as one that I would’ve paid $12 for it just by itself elsewhere.

Good value for the money.
Pricewise, these are a very good deal. However, their quality isn't up to some other brands. They wear relatively quickly, leaving more dust to clean up. For the casual user they're quite adequate. Like many things in life though, it's a trade off.

They wear out fast, but there are a lot of them
They are ok. They do the job, but you are constantly changing disks because they burn up so fast. They are also thin, so on my grinder I had to double them up so that the nut would fully seat. On the plus side there are a lot of them, so you can have a fresh disk all the time. I go back and forth on whether I would buy again.

I'm a convert to flap discs!
I've always used a wire wheel to clean up my welds. I still use the wire wheel, sometimes, but for the most part one of my grinders is dedicated to flap disc use (another grinder has a thin cutting wheel on it, and the other usually has a thicker grinding disc on it). The flap discs definitely don't last and last, but man do they work nicely. No grabbing the work and making the grinder jump in your hand. They take off metal reasonably quickly but at an easily controllable rate. Perfect for cleanup. In case you're an idiot like me - don't use the flap disc on just-welded metal. It's really hot and will probably wear the disc much more rapidly. Go clean up the previous weld first, then this one.
