ADDICTIVE!
Tried these at a friend’s house and had to buy them! So delicious with a cup of tea or coffee. I have nothing to really compare them to but are a cross between a shortbread and a biscuit. ADDICTIVE!

Great product
We love these cracker/cookies. Crisp, not too sweet and perfect with goat cheese and fig orange jam as an appetizer or light dessert.

Heavenly!
Been buying these oatcakes for years at my grocery. Not cheap, but the quality makes it worth it imo. Tried some other flavors and Oatcake is by far my favorite. Imagining the others are more suited as a base for cheeses or spreads, but the Oatcake is scrumptious all by itself. I recently tried Almond, and was very disappointed...it had an herbal aftertaste (sage?) that obliterated the almond flavor. It was so bad, I ate two and threw them out. (Not being negative for negativity's sake, just hoping Effie will see this and change the recipe, lol). Anyway, as I said...the Oatcakes are DELICIOUS. Buy them!

Our favorite cookie
Our favorite cookie. We buy the bundle of 6 packages. Since Amazon acquired Whole Foods, that store has discontinued Effie's, and other items that moved to Amazon. This may reduce stocking costs for slow moving items, but it seems to me it reduces Whole Foods customers.

My favorite treat with coffee or tea but many broken biscuits
These are my favorite not overly sweet and are very crisp. The oatcakes are my favorite flavor with the cocoa a close second. I have tried other flavors but buy those two flavors most often. They are $1.00 a box cheaper by buying 12 at one time on Amazon than at my grocery store. I should add if you want to serve for a social function don’t buy them online until they figure out how to package them. Close to have of them are broken. Still taste delicious but don’t look very pretty Whole Foods and King Soopers (a Publix food store in the west) carry Effie’s

There's more to these than meets the eye!
Some months ago a friend gave me a packet of Effie's Oatcakes. I thanked her, put them in the cupboard, and then forgot about them. Why? Well, first of all, there wasn't a sign of any chocolate (I adore chocolate, but it's the faintest of blips on my friend's radar). And they're ... beige ... taupe ... whatever you want to call it. And the name. "Oatcakes". *yawn* But then came the day that many of us experience now and then. Wanted something crunchy. A cookie-ish, cracker-ish kind of thing. I poked around in the cupboards and they were giving me Mother Hubbard until -- VOILA! -- my eye fell on that packet of Effie's Oatcakes. "Any port in a storm," I sighed, and fell to. Imagine my surprise! My joy! My delight! These things are GREAT! Crunchy ... but not too crunchy. Buttery ... but not too buttery. Sweet ... but not too sweet. And [BONUS] not that high in calories I finished that first packet and ordered more from this seller on Amazon. Heigh-ho, I'm the happy one; they arrived quickly. Let the addiction begin.
