I lost 3st on cambridge 3 years ago but worked out too expensive to carry on, almost £55 a week. Weight was maintained ever since so been looking for an alternative to help shift the last 2 st. Checked and cambridge was approx £65 now, so this was identical ingredients so tried it. The lemon bars are lovely, firm texture and filling, i use 2 a day with a 400 cal meal. The caramel ones are my nightime 'treat' and help curb cravings. Been on the bars a week, lost 6lbs so far. Bought the peanut ones for variety and got a discount using the subscription option. Will be fairly easy to stick to over the next 12 weeks, the recommended lenght to be on them. Approx £2.15 per bar, less than a meal deal at tesco with all the vitamins and minerals needed. Youve got to drink 2-3ltrs of water a day, so peeing like a racehorse! So far so good

These were a huge disappointment. The bitterness (lemon peel or artificial flavouring?) is overpowering and at the same time it's too sweet with a lingering sweet and bitter aftertaste. I couldn't stomach more than 2 bites and threw the rest away. The bars arrived in a generic cardboard box without labels or other identifiers with lose bars inside. Also, after studying the ingredients, I wouldn't recommend this as food. There are far better brands out there that doesn't contain nearly as many questionable ingredients.

The manufacturers of shake that weight pack these bars in printed boxes of 7. These bars are packed in a plain box of 10 (manually packed?). I am doubtful about the storage conditions of this supplier as several of the bars look as though they have been subject to high temperatures as they have melted and been squashed (how have they been squashed I ask myself) therefore probably not safe to eat. I have thrown the mis-shapen ones away. Not a value buy and will buy direct with the manufacturer in future.
