MCXGL Conversion RAF Nylon Strap +Adapters Replacement for Casio 16mm series watch band

The kit gave me everything I needed to install it onto my G-Shock. It came with a spring bar tool, the strap adapters, the nato band, and 3 sets of two spring bars, each in different sizes. The stock G-Shock spring bars from Casio were a little too thick for the adapters so I ended up using the largest pair of spring bars the kit provided. The spring bar tool was also easy to use. I got this because the band that Casio ships with the GW-6900 is way too big for my small wrists. A friend recommended I try a nato band to see if it helps and it does! This kit has a great fit that is comfortable to wear all day. It also looks pretty slick with the rest of my watch's color pallet. I'll definitely look into purchasing a different color version in the future!

This is a great watch band. The bands from Casio that are direct replacements only lasted 3~5 years generally and then start to crack & fail. I had a similar watch band to this (RAF style) on an older Timex HUMVEE watch that lasted forever. Note: I put this band on a Casio Waveceptor WV-200A and it worked perfectly. This model series was *NOT* listed in the item's description. Specs seemed to match but I was worried that that the specific geometries of the pin/watch interface tabs would be different and need modification. This was NOT the case, the tabs matched perfectly. Casio kept the same shape and size between all these models (as I had hoped). The included tool really made for an easy replacement installation process. I was super pleased.

The 16 mm adapters are sloppily cast out of soft plastic; I never could get them mounted. The good news is you still end up with a standard 22 mm NATO band at a good price.

I bought this to replace the broken strap on my G-Shock watch. I like the nylon fabric much more than the original rubber strap. Less sweating and irritation. Easy to install and it looks fantastic.

Very sturdy straps, yet very comfortable. They adjust well for many wrist sizes. The band size is 22mm, and the bonus is that it comes with lug adapters for smaller lugs. The blue color is nice, but gray was a real treat. It looks better in person that pictures but it has a silvery sheen to it.

Included two sets of three spring bars: one set of thicker and one set of thinner bars. The band seems high quality, although I was mostly interested in the adapter so I could swap it out whenever I wanted later on. Seems like a high quality adapter, only complaint is that it sits a bit high off of my wrist since the DW-5600E is a slightly smaller GShock than most. But it looks great, feels sturdy, and comes with tools and spare sprint bars so I’m set for a while!

The strap is 22mm but the adapter needs a 24mm. The 22mm strap is loose in the adapter and let's the watch slide side to side. I had to purchase a separate 24mm strap because it was very annoying.

The strap itself seems fine, but the connectors don't fit the watch without being trimmed. G Shock watches are notoriously difficult to swap out bands, but this is even worse. Because the manufacturing tolerances are poor, this band simply doesn't fit without being sanded down. Infuriating and dangerous, as you are likely to give yourself a puncture wound and get blood on your watch band. I am angry, sore, bloody, and ready to give up. Save yourself the frustration and just deal with the stock strap. Also the instructions are worthless.

Very good quality. I have seen a few reviews saying its not good quality, but it actually is pretty good considering the price. The adapters fit nicely and the colors match against the watch and the strap is of decent quality. Do ensure that this is compatible with the watch model you own. The addition of a tool and extra spring bars is a nice touch, so you dont have to have the tools to be able to buy this. Just make sure to use the thicker spring bars (included along with slimmer spring bars and a spring bar tool) so that there is a tight fit on the adapter. The strap has a bit a room against the adapter, that's the only issue I can see. I presume a fatter strap will solve this (haven't tried it yet). The really good thing is, once the adapters are fixed, you can change as many nato straps as you like. Its an easy 5 min job changing the original strap to this one. If anyone is not clear what to do, just youtube/google "how to change a strap" which will show how the tool is to be used.

I like that they send spring bars consisting of varied lengths and thicknesses. I got 9 spring bars in total though lol. The tool they send works, but is hard to handle because it is short. The end opposite the prong is a skinny rod which I ended up stabbing myself with from requiring so much force to get the spring bar into the watch hole. A longer shaft would allow for more dexterity and provide better leverage. I used the original springbars from my watch as they were the thickest diameter. Very hard to seat into the watch band and even harder to seat into the watch but the increased durability is worth the effort. The strap is quite comfortable relative to the OEM strap.

Ho acquistato questo cinturino NATO con adattatori per G-Shock e devo dire che sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. La qualità è ottima: il tessuto è robusto e trasmette una sensazione di solidità che dà fiducia nell’uso quotidiano. Gli adattatori si montano senza difficoltà e calzano perfettamente. Mi ha sorpreso il fatto che siano in gomma e non in metallo: all’inizio ero scettico, ma si sono rivelati più sicuri e al tempo stesso delicati sulla cassa, evitando graffi o danni che invece il metallo avrebbe potuto causare. Dal punto di vista estetico, l’orologio cambia completamente volto: da semplice G-Shock “strumento” diventa anche un accessorio più elegante e decorativo, capace di adattarsi bene a diverse situazioni. Un altro aspetto positivo è che con un cinturino NATO è praticamente impossibile perdere l’orologio: anche in caso di rottura di una barretta, resta comunque saldamente al polso. L’unico motivo per cui non do 5 stelle è che avrei gradito più varianti di colore, ma per il resto lo consiglio a chiunque voglia rendere il proprio G-Shock ancora più versatile e sicuro.
