For my PS2, this worked properly, and is of a good quality. When installed, it almost looks like Sony made it themselves, very professional quality. I have no complaints about it. The documentation in the manuals is very clear, and gives a through explanation of how it is used.

Works great. If you use a 2.5 drive like an ssd the drive jiggles inside, especially with a standed PS2

It took me all of 2 minutes to inbox this bad boy and plug my HDD in. I had a small issue at first getting both screws to go in, but that was an issue with the console models threading on the left side which is a known issue. My HDD works, I've been playing games for weeks now. Absolutely happy to have this.

This is a great SSD adapter for the PS2. The screws line right up with the back of the console. The only thing I wish it had was a couple tabs to actually secure the SSD to the adapter. Currently, it just gets connected onto the pins then you screw it into the console, so if the console gets moved around a bunch, it’s possible the SSD could come loose.

This doodad has yet to fail me. It's a little wobbly and a tad difficult to install, but that is likely why people usually get something to hold it in place. On its own, it works perfectly.

This adapter works perfectly and it is a great price for what it lets you do. I used it to launch fhdb and now I can play all my old ps2 games without using the ps2 disk reader or worrying about scratched disks. I strongly recommend this product to anyone with an old fat ps2.
