Virbac 3 Pack C.e.t. Enzymatic Toothpaste - Poultry Flavor - 2.5 Oz (70 Grams)

I have used this toothpaste for my dogs for 10 years and the vet dental specialist recommends. They love the chicken taste. It is both C.E.T AND Enzymatic for their gum health. I brush my dogs' teeth every other day (Samoyed and Pug). I used one of the tubes in this 3-pack (purchased 11/19/2019) for about half the tube. Then I saw some black stuff come out of the tube. The toothpaste is a light brown color. I squeezed and some more black stuff came out along with the normal toothpaste. I immediately quit using it and am starting on another tube in the same 3 pack to see if this is a one-time shot. I have used this toothpaste VERY happily and successfully for many years. I have never experienced this before. I will update this review based on the results of this second tube, which should take about 6 weeks to determine.. Virbac is a great company and normally a great product.Updated review 11/2020 - I have gone through another 3 pack and never experienced any black stuff. So I am still on board with this and always order it through Amazon

Never order from Monster Pets again! I received this order of a 3 pack of poultry flavor toothpaste on March 4th 2019. My return window closed on April 4th. I am very disgusted with my 2nd and 3rd tubes which both have something black in the toothpaste. I'm thinking mold. Also, the packaging looked different from the normal packaging that is pictured on the order. I've used this toothpaste for many years and unless CET has changed the packaging format, this is a knock off.

My boys think this chicken flavor is really yummy. The flavor makes them receptive to tooth brushing if you ease into it. And with strict consistency their teeth will clean up really nice within a few months. I give them a taste and then I say brush the teeth and I just rub it up the side of their mouths with my finger. I know a brush would be better but we are not that advanced yet. Then when I finish that side I give them another little taste and say brush the teeth again and run a glob up the other side of their mouths. Then I finish up with another taste and praise them. My boys are poodles and poodles are really notorious for plaque buildup so I have to do this regimen morning and evening. I also give them the C.E.T. Rawhide chews once in a while, in addition to brushing. Altogether it seems to keep them free of dental procedures, so they are happy and I am happy.

I have been using this enzymatic tooth paste for years on my Miniature Schnauzers, from a little pup on. The trick is to start brushing daily, from very young, so they get used to the idea. My last Schnauzer had her teeth brushed daily until she passed away at almost 18, but her teeth even at that age, were according to the Vet, exceptionally, in good shape. I don't know exactly how it works so well, but dogs have pearly white teeth and gums that are healthy, but it is important to brush every day, just as we do. I know the product is good, as I personally, have had three different Vets, attest to how good it is. I don't meant this to sound as a commercial, but just trying to communicate if you love your little one, this will help keep him or her, around longer.

I opened this and the color on the tube was slightly off comparing it to a previous tube I bought from a different buyerso I compared the inside product: totally different!! this was a different color, different consistancy. It was very sticky and even difficult to wipe off my counter. No way would I put this in my beautiful poodle's mouth. Be careful of what you buy!I called amazon and they were very concerned and did a good job.

I started my dog on the chicken flavor as a puppy. She loves it and really is happy to have her teeth brushed. She eagerly approaches for teeth brushing with this product. It is part of her bedtime ritual and she lies down to sleep immediately afterward. I've tried the beef and fish flavors when the chicken was unavailable. She didn't seem to enjoy them as much. I've tried other brands and flavors which she obviously dislikes.

I’m not successful at actually brushing their teeth. But I serve this to each on a toothbrush. Ive been told the enzymes help a little controlling tarter. Meanwhile they can’t get enough of the chicken flavor

I was using a different toothpaste that was similar but my one fur child had to go to the vet dentist and he recommended only this one. My girls go nuts for it. You use a lot less than others because it is a little sticky so it stays on the brush longer and all the teeth get equal amount of paste. Try it and you will see the difference.

I have an almost 2yo domestic shorthair cat and the vet said her teeth were decent but would be much healthier with daily brushing. Thankfully, my cat does not bite/squirm/scratch and allows me to brush her teeth daily. Her back teeth were quite yellow with visible plaque and it's been 2 weeks since I have been brushing her teeth with this toothpaste and wow, all of her teeth are the same colour now and her mouth/gums are so much cleaner and healthier. Could not recommend this enough! She also likes the taste of this so extra thumbs up.

Dog loves it. Fast delivery...came way before scheduled date.

My dogs sit and wait to get their teeth done every night. They think its a treet.

Shipping took six weeks. Purchased same product from my vet, same day for 2/3 the cost. It works well, but shipping and cost are a problem.
