IronWolf Pro 10TB NAS Internal Hard Drive HDD –CMR 3.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 256MB Cache for RAID Network Attached Storage, Data Recovery Service – Frustration Free Packaging (ST10000NEZ008)

I have a twelve bay NAS Synology storage system that I presently utilize the Seagate 10TB drives in. I do have two Western Digital Drives in the system presently and eight Seagate 10TB drives. To date all drives are performing flawless. I will be looking soon to either repurchase two 10TB Seagate drives or up the last two drive capabilities to handle more storage. Seagate makes a great product !!

This review is simply a reminder of the following: 1) The Pro drives have a 3 year data recovery window, and 5 year manufacturer warranty. 2) Seagate was the only vendor that was not shingling the data a year or two back. They actually sold what they were promising. 3) I have multiple Ironwolf drives (non pro) that have been running for 5 years that I am replacing over time. None are showing errors. I have already replaced my Sandisk and WD Red drives at least once since that initial install.

Setting up a new NAS unit can be difficult with the supply shortages of 21'. Luckily this supplier allowed me to purchase the 6 drives I needed for my new RS1221+. Got them the week of Christmas, loaded them in, ohoh. One drive not good. Emailed the supplier and they sent out a replacement immediately! And they emailed a prepaid UPS ground label for the RMA return. Wow, I am impressed. Got the replacement and all is well. Shout out to Scott and his team for excellent customer service just before Christmas. You guys rock.

I'm using it for an internal backup drive on my primary PC. It makes some odd noises when it is writing, but otherwise is completely silent. So far extremely reliable.

According to Seagate, Seagate can not honor any warranties due to the fact that the hard drives thar I received were removed from a parent device or external USB drive. No clue if it has been used or not but after about a year plus one of the drives showed degraded status. I would not trust these drives from TechnoDealsUSA as they are not authorized resellers.

Perfect for my RAID-5 box. Large cache on each drive; network speed is definitely the bottleneck. Maybe it's time to go 10 Gbe! Seller service and responsiveness outstanding.

I have used Seagate Ironwolfs in a home NAS for the past 7 years, recently had two 4 TB drives begin to fail after 6 years worth of powered on time. I purchased 4 of these 10 TB for a NAS at work, 3 of them have been running without an issue for over a year now. I just purchased this again to expand the RAID. I have never contacted their tech support, so I am omitting that rating. but.. In my experience, very reliable and the lowest price out there.

Installed four of the drives in my synology NAS 920.. all disk fired up error free and are very quit.

Viene sin garantía del fabricante, pero por ley siempre están los dos años, el embalaje era bastante cutre simplemente un soporte de plástico transparente a cada lado dentro de la caja de cartón El modelo es un ST10000NE0008-2PL103 (EN02) El disco esta muy bien, me ha dado 0 problemas, lo uso en linux con ext4 y ya lo llene casi todo, tuve que meter varias copias de seguridad y quedo a 1TB libre, ya ha paso varias pruebas "largas" de smart y ningún problema Hace un año compré un ST10000DM0004-1ZC101 (DN01), y recientemente tuvo sectores defectuosos, pero pude salvar casi todo, lo afectado solo eran unos videos y con la experiencia he aprendido que un sector defectuoso en medio de un video ni se nota, sale en el log pero si no miras el log ni te das cuenta Recomiendo este sobre el ST10000DM0004 aunque el ST10000DM0004 sea un poquito más rápido, este es más silencioso Recordad hacer siempre copias de seguridad de los datos importantes

sinceramente difficile esprimersi su durabilità e qualità prezzo a pochi giorni dall'acquisto, una cosa che non mi piace è la forte rumorosità in fase di scrittura però

Eine sehr schnelle Festplatte, macht aber im Betrieb knurrende Geräusche. Ich benutze die um meine Multimedia Daten zu speichern. Ich tät die Platte erneut kaufen :-) Die Lautstärke der Platte stört mich nicht.
