Good chocolates, bad packaging.
The chocolates are delicious. But careless packaging destroyed the contents.

great item
I read about the benefits of chocolate that's at least 70% and without sugar. This is 90% and uses only stevia. I put two squares in my hot coffee in the morning. The heat from the coffee melts it and then I add a tiny bit of my own stevia and some soy milk. Tastes great. It's good for me and gets rid of my hunger.

Good but pricey
These are really delicious. Definitely appreciate that they're low sugar, low carb, and taste great. But they are pricey so I probably won't re-order.

Great dark chocolate
Best dark chocolate I’ve ever had

Very intense dark chocolate flavor, bitter.
I like dark chocolate but this was very bitter. I used it because of the cost but had to vary bites with other regular dark chocolate.

The darker, the better.
In the past years if I consumed milk chocolate I would get pimples on my face. But since I have been taking Lily’s Intensely Dark, Extra Dark Chocolate, it has lowered my blood pressure significantly, and I no longer get pimples on my face.

Intense!
Very intense, indeed! I just tried Lily for the first time and wow! This is very dark, very cocoa, like when you used to pilfer chocolate chips or semi-sweet baking chocolate from Mom's kitchen. I switched to this brand from 50-50 dark chocolate bars (both brands are excellent and sugar-free) because the price on the latter keeps rising (Lily is only slightly cheaper because it includes free Prime Delivery.) The major difference is the sugar substitute: Lily's Stevia does not have an aftertaste "burn" after eating like 50-50's Maltitol. I have not tried any of the many Lily variations, only "Intensely Dark", but you can bet I will!

They need to remove erythritol!--And the lead and cadmium!
Update: Below I was complaining about erythritol. Now Consumer Reports came out with an analysis that shows that Lily's is one of the few that exceed CA safe levels for both lead and cadmium. These can wreak havoc to one's health, though it's not clear to people as the damage is incremental and imperceptible. Such a shame because I LOVED this chocolate. Turning to Ghirardelli's that has very little sugar in the one strip I have per day. But I would much prefer stevia. I love the stevia as it allows me to eat the chocolate without much guilt, but for some reason they have erythritol. This only adds volume, so not sure why it's there. When I contacted them about the recent health concerns they showed no interest at all, giving bland response about how they check everything. Yes, years ago when the started the product. They need to stay up to date. Plus, to repeat, it has no purpose. Otherwise this is a good chocolate. Recommended.
