Easy to install & connectors work perfectly.
Everything fit and connected to my 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Although the instructions were a little vague I had no issues installing the wire harness.

Easy peasy
Fit great on my 05’ TJ. Harness was about 4’ too long so I cut it to fit. I elected to install the front to rear harness section inside the vehicle because I off road it. Used the drivers rear corner harness grommet and followed it up to the firewall. I had to cut the harness to feed it through as the connectors are too large to do this without a massive disassembly. Very pleased with the result and had zero issues on my first 1,200 mile flat tow behind my Ford Excursion. The front mounting connector mount is screwed to the factory bumper and my Curt front receiver is on top... works awesome.Only complaint is the 4-pin connector cover doesn’t fit quite right because there is a lot of rubber memory in the cap retention loop. I’m going to apply a little heat to that to see if I can get a better fit. Looks like the reverse side cover was included in my kit. Maybe they just include the cover I got in all because it will fit either end of the 4-pin rather than making two different covers. Anyhow, a minor complaint that would not deter me from a future purchase for a different vehicle.

Had to reverse wires on right side
Instructions could have been better, but for what should have been a plug and play setup they were OK. When installed on my 2003 Jeep TJ Sahara model the turn signal/brake function illuminated the clear reverse bulb, and the back up light blinked the stop light. Quick fix is to unpin top two wires on plug that goes to tail light and reverse them (leave brown wire and empty hole next to it alone). My lights appear to be factory install as they still had the foam tape on them so I am just assuming the harness came with wires reversed. I normally don't write reviews, but this may be helpful to someone who runs into same problem.

Worked on my 2002 TJ
Wires were loose and easily tangled….. I fixed this by zip ties every 6” then black tape to clean up the look before installation. Installation was pretty straight forward….. plug and play in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ…. The harness was plenty long to route the wires in safe out of sight locations along the drivers side…. I rolled, zip tied the excess tucked under the front bumper….

Works good
Pretty simple too install but as other reviews have noted the installation instructions are generic and not vehicle specific. In order to install you have to remove trim screws on lower rear of the inner plastic fender flairs. This gives you access to the manufacture wiring plug connector that connects to each tail light. Disconnect the factory connector and plug this in on both sides. Zip tie the diode box to something in the wheel well and finish by running your line to the front. One thing to note is that if you use your Jeep to tow anything the trailer wiring for the hitch is either spliced into the wires or uses the same connectors. Probably most will be using these connectors. You can only connect one harness into the tail lights with the factory connectors. In order to keep my trailer wiring capability I disconnected that and then hard spliced a 4 flat wiring harness into the wires themselves freeing up the ability to connect these for the towing behind the RV. Hope that makes sense.

Poor instructions, good harness
The instructions for my 06 Wrangler Rubicon installation were horrible! They tell you to remove the rear taillights to get at the plug connectors which is totally unnecessary. You need to pull out the plastic push in fastener at each bottom corner of the body. Then fold back the plastic flap & the plugs are right there. Instructions also say to route the wires to the front of Jeep on the passenger side but the wires that go to the front end up on drivers side if installed per instructions. Anyone installing this will see what I'm talking about. Instructions also say double stick tape is included to mount diode box behind driver side taillight. Tape was not included. Other than wasting time removing taillights & trying to figure out screwed up instructions, then figuring out how to actually get at the plugs, The harness is fine. The installation time depends on how & where you run the wiring and how clean of a job you want to do.

Easy Installation
My jeep was previously wired by splicing into the various brake/blinker wires. When one of those splices broke I ordered the Hopkins 56202. It was super easy to install. Hardest part was removing my old system. Installing the new harness was simple plug/play. Great value for the money!
