Good value for the dollar.
These cute little critters arrived in a very timely manner. Delivery was swift! They have a pleasant smell just like your hands did after catching lightning bugs as a kid. I enjoyed taking them out that very night (if released during the day, they tend to fly away - When released at night they search for the bad bugs/aphids to eat and then stay and rest during the day before searching for more the following night). It was fun just sprinkling a few at the base of my garden plants, blueberry bushes, peachtrees and blackberry bushes. I obviously got a LOT more than ordered. It is so neat to have such cute little bugs and yet they do so much to protect your garden. It had rained earlier in the day so there was plenty of moisture so no need to irrigate beforehand (you might need to do so if you have a dry spell). Instructions and an information sheet are included. I look forward to seeing how effective they are. Their function is twofold: kill the bad bugs and look really cute. I am not sure how they counted them but I got at least twice as many as advertised so it was good value for the money. Plus, they will lay eggs for future gardens in the yard. YAY LADYBUGS!!

Alive and energetic and hungry for aphids
All ladybugs were moving and ready to fight aphids in my garden. I have already released them and I am looking forward to much fewer holes in my leaves, much healthier hostas, zinnias, cup/saucer vines, marigolds. What a nightmare the aphids were. The aphids rebounded after multiple treatments with bon-neem. I should have gone straight for the ladybugs. Some crawled on my hand as I opened bag to release. They do not bite people. They go forward looking for their aphid target. I bought hippodamia convergens which should be active at lower temperatures (zone 5b in may is 60 degrees). Very happy with their energy.

Pick them up quick out of the mailbox.
Kind of expensive bugs but I'd buy again. The first batch only about 200 made it alive. Texas heat is brutal and they don't last long in a hot sun beaten mailbox. Contacted them and they resent another one quick as can be. Still lost about 25% but got to them earlier after delivery so very pleased with customer service. Only suggestion is to have them dropped at the door vs mailbox. I think more would survive.

They're still everywhere
The first package arrived late, during a hot spell. Unfortunately, most of the ladies did not survive. However, after contacting the seller, they corrected the issue and the second package arrived (in much nicer temps) with all the ladies healthy.I released them around my various garden areas as noted. Weeks later, I'm still seeing the benefits and ladies all around. My ever bearing strawberry plants were devastated from aphids. Now, the berries are huge and no aphids around anywhere.

Recurrent customer
My third time ordering live lady bugs from this company. I’ve ordered them during summer or late spring in Texas, so I released them fairly quickly. I water down my trees and gardens right before the release, and I water down everything each evening to keep a water source for them. They get rid of my aphid issues very quickly!

Way too much dead loss
First time bought 300 looked more like 150 with some dead loss. So I tried once again, bought 1500. Came in two separate bags. The amount of dead loss will keep me from buying them again. Very disappointed with that.

1/3 were still in the pouch dead the next morning.
We waited until dusk to release them. We watered down the tree first so the ladybugs could hydrate from the long journey. I was happy to see them spilling out of their pouch and onto the tree. The next morning, about 1/3 of the ladybugs were still in the pouch. Looking further I could see they were dead. I opened the pouch fully to see for certain and they all spilled out onto the ground. I've included a picture of them dead in the pouch and on the ground. I could understand a few dead, but 1/3 seems like a lot. I'm sure I'll need more later as it is a big tree and it is a big spider mite infestation. Not sure I would buy this product again.

Great. Most arrived alive.
I had a bad experience recently ordering garden worms through the mail, but these folks cared more. The packaging had adequate air holes and was well labeled to let the post person know to not just leave it in a cramped mailbox. Most arrived alive so no complaints.
