Simulating Data with SAS

Basic information and sample code
I am a long-time user (since 1974) and advocate of SAS software. I also have done many, many simulation studies and am familiar with most of what is offered in this book. It should be useful to those with little experience with simulation studies.I was disappointed that it does not offer help on Bayesian methods, especially MCMC, and does not even provide references on those.

Great Book on Simulation w/SAS
I really think this is a great book on simulation. It reviews basic concepts and makes SAS codes available so that you can replicate the examples. You also learn the basics of Proc IML too. I would highly recommend it to SAS programmers who want to learn how to simulate data.

Data simulation.
Comprehensive book. Takes you through the steps clearly, simply with no loss in its ability cover complexity.

A Must Have Book for the Curious Analyst
This book is a must have for those of us who like to tweak a model or write our own algorithm to analyze a new problem. Understand your data so well that you can simulate it is invaluable in analysis. If you are at all curious about how your model performance, how well the algorithm can be stressed, how accurate your output is, then you might try simulating data first and then testing your model or algorithm before feeding it real data. Simulating Data with SAS is also a nice book to Bayesians to learn to simulate data from the posterior distributions using SAS. In short, I have Rick Wicklin's first book and it is always being passed around the office as a useful reference. I have no doubt that everyone will find this new one equally as useful!
