This is great! I can talk and see my Great Grandchildren. They can all call me even the two year old can find my picture and press on it. I use this most days. I read books, help with homework, watch them dance and sing, do cartwheels. We bought ours about 7 years ago,when my son bought one for himself and his daughter who moved out of state. We now have two granddaughters with 7 children between them, so we bought another one this year for the other family, and keep connected with each other. It works better than a cell phone for the kids to use. The camera pans in and out so if they are doing cartwheels I can see the whole cartwheel. Ours is still going great after 7 years.

This portal gave my brother hands free video calling while he is confined to a hospital bed. We could visit with him without being exposed to illness and simpler and larger images than a phone.

I just came across this item I purchased last year. I would have reviewed back then. I reached out when I received to say that it came with a different plug from another country because there are no outlets in the United States that I could plug this into and received no help. I give this a zero rating. So disgusted.

Bought one for my entire family and it works really well.

I got this product assuming that it was like a tablet that had Facebook encrypted in it I guess so i wasn't sure exactly what I was getting into, but I thought that I would be able to stream Netflix or Hulu or Disney or even HBO or anything. But it is strictly only Facebook or YouTube and you can't even watch all of YouTube videos. It only allows you to watch some of them, which I find incredibly inconvenient. I actually put it in my kitchen so I could watch videos or listen to music while doing dishes and I can listen to music. However, I cannot watch any type of videos unless I choose to watch them on YouTube and the ones on YouTube are limited to certain channels. It's not all videos like you would be able to watch even on your phone. I was very disappointed by that. You can also sign in to zoom on that, which I found pretty cool. That's actually a new feature. So they are adding things but I do think that it needs quite a bit of work for it. Continue to be something that people will buy. I also am under the impression that they are about to no longer even sell these because of how poor the market is for these because a lot of people don't want to buy the device because it is not like a tablet.

Meta/Facebook is trying to close out the inventory of this device. - Has hardly less then 10 apps - Has No good collection of apps. - Even Facebook, we have to access it through web browser. If they have to sell more, at least they should open the device for Google Play Store installation. Otherwise, it is a landfill.

My dad is very happy after I brought him this Gadget. - The audio and Video call Quality is excellent. - The camera has auto focus, moves with you, zooms on you etc. - has the advantage of making FB Messenger & Watsapp calls.

Acquistato solo per poter aver assistenza all'accesso del mio account facebook bloccato senza alcun motivo nel giugno 2020, sono riuscito ad accedere all'assistenza, perchè se non hai un prodotto facebook o oculus non ti danno assistenza, ma purtroppo neppure avendo in mano il loro prodotto non sono stati in grado di ridarmi l'accesso, quindi ho restituito il prodotto inutilizzabile, nel 2021 avevo provato con l'acquisto del visore oculus, anche li senza successo..... restituii anche quello....... praticamente Facebook è inaffidabile sull'assistenza, se vi informate sul web è possibile trovare migliaia di casi come il mio..... P.s ottobre 2022 non ho ancora accesso....

OMG - thank you FB for creating such a simple and fantastic product as the FB Portal!! It has transformed our life!! My 86 year old Mom, is deaf and suffers with Vascular Dementia; she resides in a Care Home and we have not been able to visit her since March 2020 when the UK went into lockdown ☹ Purchasing the Portal was the very best thing we did! We speak to her multiple times a day now! Her friends and other relatives are now in regular contact with her and her mental health has improved significantly since she's been able to see people again. The quality of the audio and camera is superb. The volume goes really high, so Mom can actually hear us without us having to yell at the top of our voices! The way the camera follows us around the room is a bonus as she gets to see the dog whom she misses terribly and she does't miss out on the hustle and bustle of home! I can't recommend the Portal highly enough. Everybody should have one! It's an absolute lifesaver for the elderley. Worth every penny!

I don’t live in the UK but it was cheaper to buy it here so please don’t forget that you have to buy a Uk adapter
