A tour de force of Newton's Three Laws of Motion
Newton's deceptively simple laws of motion weave through nature in very subtle ways: taken for granted in the everydayness of life. The author leaves no stone unturned, showing how these laws undergird surprising scenarios, easily overlooked. All the more is the author's side-kick "conversational" style: perky and alert to catch the unwary pupil from ever falling-asleep. Recommended without reservation.

Knowledge is keen
The must book for any young scientist.

Another worthy title in The Students Guide series.
Very clearly written and illustrated. Although pitched at a college undergrad level this could be used by advanced HS students and contains enough detail to offer occasional insights to even a grad level student.

Great book
This is a very nice and insightful book that can help students better understand the important concepts behind Newton's laws of mechanics. Great book!

Thoughtful and creative
This book would be an excellent supplement for a standard intro physics course. It discusses about half of what is in the first semester of introductory physics. The presentation is unique and many of the insights are either buried in standard texts or not there at all. Any serious student who wants to really understand Newton's laws should read this text. The text is fun to read, but you have to be willing to keep your mind open and read carefully.

Not useful at all
I bought this book after purchasing the Rotational Dynamics book which is quite interesting. Unfortunately this book did not add anything of value. Any physics textbook has a better presentation's of Newton’s laws.
