Not going to go 4 stars, but the cable is a little stiff. Sound quality is great for music, great microphone, spend nearly all day on ZOOM calls. Use this with a bit of playback EQ (FxSound app) and really they are great for listening to music. Open air design. Light. Comfortable.

Updated to add: I am back in my office now and have a window on a very busy street with lots of noise. When I use this my students hear very little of the road noise. An ambulance went screaming by my window at full volume and they barely heard it. I have begun teaching my college classes from home and using Zoom for my classes. Many of my students cannot attend and so I record my lessons. I also have to cc my recordings to meet ADA requirements. With my other head phones or just the computer/camera mic I spent more time correcting the CCing that I did in the lesson. Theses headphones and mic are great! Almost no mistakes in the ccing process. When I listen to music it is like surround sound. Great product!

These work well for business use (phone calls, video calls, etc.) and have a surprisingly good sound for listening to music. They are not quite as good or as well made as the previous model, however, so I'm deducting a star for that. Still, much better than the standard office headsets (Belkin, Logitech, etc.) out there for just a little more cost.

Sometimes, I have to unplug and re-plug it to get it to work, which can be frustrating in the middle of a Zoom call. I'm not sure if it's the product's fault. I like the quality is awesome, its comfortable to wear. It works 99% of the time. I got it refurbished and it was worth the money.

Pros: Decent quality unit overall, lightweight, comfortable, adjustable. Playback sound quality is decent. Cons: 1. Adjustment doesn't work like you expect, but one can get used to it. 2. Within a few months of regular use, I noticed an occasional hum in the earpieces when using the microphone during calls. It is a strong static hum that sounds like a ground loop. The hum can be (mostly) attenuated by touching my finger to a local ground, e.g., the exposed metal of a USB extension cord or similar. The hum does not fully disappear when doing this, though. The only way to make it go away is to mute the mic. It makes the headset completely useless for recordings or calls. The hum would appear occasionally at first. Today (seven months after purchasing), the hum is here to stay. There's nothing I can do. I tried using it with two other computers in different locations. The hum follows the headset. Thanks a lot, Sennheiser/EPOS/whoever designed this garbage. The hum surfaced after the return window closed. For 25% of the price of this fancy POS, I'd rather get a cheapie headset that actually works forever.

The sound quality like any Sennheiser product is amazing, noise cancellation was perfect. They were comfortable, just not as comfortable as my other Sennheiser head set. I bought this one for my laptop when I travel for work, works great with any messaging or meeting APP such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, Skype, etc.

I like the light weight, compact, and mic boom protected by headset band. I did get complaints about mic audio quality for several apps. I recorded my own voice and listened on playback. The volume was too soft, no way to increase, and hissing trail and pop on almost all S words. I have another older, (discontinued) Sennheiser and it had much better mic quality.

This headset works with PCLinuxOS. It is sturdy and well crafted. It just works and I am happy with the price. I would buy it again.

Sämtliche Vorgängermodelle litten entweder unter schlechter Tonqualität, mangelndem Tragekomfort oder unzuverlässiger Technik – dieser Kopfhörer hingegen überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Sowohl der Klang auf der eigenen Seite als auch das Mikrofon sind außergewöhnlich gut. Gesprächspartner haben mehrfach aktiv nachgefragt, welches Gerät ich verwende – eine Rückmeldung, die ich bislang von keinem anderen Headset kannte. Die Sprachübertragung ist glasklar, Hintergrundgeräusche werden zuverlässig ausgeblendet. Auch der Tragekomfort stimmt: Das Headset sitzt angenehm und ist auch über längere Zeiträume hinweg gut zu tragen. Für alle, die bewusst auf kabelgebundene Technik setzen, ist dieses Modell uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Ein durchweg zuverlässiges und technisch überzeugendes Gerät.

Its been 2 weeks i am using this product regularily for my MS Teams meetings and i must tell you all that its performing superb. NO ISSUES FOUND YET. Working perfectly. The Most highlighting thing about this headset is its Noise Cancelling Microphone ,5 stars for that it cancells most of the noise in the surroundings. Sound Quality : you can use it for listening music, quality is not that bad, it sounds decent, you will not feel as cheap sound its actually good. clarity is decent, bass is also decent ... in terms of Music listening experience overall its 3.5 stars out of 5, YOU ALSO USE THIS WITH PHONE ALSO BUT YOU WILL NEED A TYPE-C MALE TO USB-A FEMALE TO CONNECT . AND it works with the phone also both sound and Microphone (and i have noticed that using with the phone it gives a bit better sound output) It also has a controller module to control the volume and mic mute/unmute button which is very handy and also works with the MS Teams In my experience i am able to use it for 1.5 hours continuously no major discomfort i was able to bear it, after 1.5 hours i use to unwear it for 1-2 min and again put it back and i was good to go Its a Highly Recommended Product for those who are looking for a headset for meetings and calls , and for some music on the go. GO FOR IT BLINDLY !!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET

acquistata per la sopravvivenza quotidiana in ambiente ufficio, visto che l'eredità post-lockdown della pandemia si è tramutata nella dittatura assoluta della videoconferenza. la cuffietta con microfono d'ordinanza, quella fornita insieme al computer dal datore di lavoro, fa sembrare la mia voce quella di donald il papero, o di michele il topo, e ce ne vuole... quindi ho deciso di finanziare, con fondi personali, l'acquisto di una soluzione alternativa che spero si rivelerà dignitosa. se voglio ascoltare musica con qualità non mi mancano gli attrezzi del caso; questo headset Sennheiser PC 8.2 CHAT è stato scelto quasi esclusivamente per affrontare chiamate e videoconferenze (piattaforma Mac e PC) in un ambiente dove altre persone stanno facendo altrettanto; poi, come beneficio aggiuntivo, se nell'ascolto musicale men che occasionale riuscissi anche a non odiarlo, avrei centrato il mio obiettivo. per collegamenti in qualità audio broadcast dispongo già di un headset di costo 8x, di una scheda audio dedicata dal costo 10x, o di una cuffia bluetooth con filtraggio attivo del rumore ambientale di valore 8x anche decisamente sofisticata... tutti begli oggetti, che è impegnativo però trascinare in ufficio una tantum – e inopportuno, o pericoloso, lasciare lì a tempo indefinito in mia assenza. il livello del segnale audio ricevuto in cuffia è ottimo, c'è tutto il guadagno che serve senza dover arrivare a fine corsa del controllo di volume – e l'amplificatore incorporato è assolutamente muto in assenza di segnale... perfetto! il microfono è di tipo differenziale, e molto efficace: l'attenuazione laterale discrimina tutto ciò che avviene nell'intorno acustico, mentre la mia voce rimane fedele all'originale, senza colorazioni indesiderate. la mia testa ha dimensioni importanti, ma la calzata è regolabile a piacimento, e anche ben oltre la mia stessa morfologia; i padiglioni e l'archetto sono imbottiti con intelligenza, poggiano saldi senza pressioni fastidiose. molto positivo, per me, è il fatto che i padiglioni sono di tipo "aperto" e "over-ear": se una collega o un collega mi parla, non mi perdo la sua domanda, o la sua esclamazione, anche se sta adoperando un tono colloquiale nel rivolgersi a me – ma se voglio seguire una conferenza o un video senza distrazioni, il volume che posso ottenere è più che bastante per "lasciare fuori" dal mio campo uditivo tutto quello che avviene al di fuori della mia concentrazione. un ulteriore elemento di elevato valore intrinseco risiede nell'interfaccia audio usb di cui è dotato l'headset: non solo permette di lavorare anche a 48kHz, anziché solo ai canonici 32 dei dispositivi "telco", ma vanta anche una stabilità al throughput invidiabile: con il monitoraggio in ritorno all'interno di Ableton Live su un MacBook Pro di fine 2015, il buffer settato a soli 64 sample non produce alcun glitch, e permette un tempo di latenza assai contenuto, per una sincronizzazione labiale con il video al di sopra di qualsiasi sospetto. ciliegina sulla torta, poi, l'ascolto musicale – sul luogo di lavoro è davvero occasionale per me, anche meno, ma avendo avuto io una formazione musicale di tipo classico, non tollero l'ascolto di materiale musicale con l'arbitraria esaltazione di frequenze gravi che ai più, di norma, arriva a suonare addirittura gradita, o persino auspicabile. in questo, il pedigree Sennheiser (e quello di Epos, com'era chiamato un tempo il marchio che ha progettato questo headset, ora acquisito da Sennheiser) si fanno sentire: riproduzione corretta, lineare, equilibrata... c'è tutto quello che serve anche per "alzare la vibra", ma senza rendere ridicola un'orchestra d'archi o un trio jazz di pianoforte, contrabbasso e batteria. dopo ore che ho l'headset addosso, poi, non mi duole nessun orecchio, e non ravviso nemmeno quella sensazione di sgradevole riscaldamento che si produce con la cuffia bluetooth che tutti i colleghi dell'ufficio mi invidiano... rispetto agli obiettivi del mio acquisto, tutti i bersagli sono stati perfettamente centrati – la qualità professionale è non solo indiscutibile, ma a questo prezzo persino abbordabile, e per giunta associata ad una prestazione del microfono in gamma vocale assolutamente inarrivabile per i produttori di apparati specifici per applicazioni telco. forse, volendo proprio fare le pulci al marchio produttore, nel prezzo avrebbe anche potuto trovare posto una bustina per il trasporto che offrisse un po' di protezione meccanica, e un po' di protezione igienica... ma il costruttore specifica chiaramente che il prodotto si intende destinato ad un'utenza privata, non ad un utilizzatore professionale, quindi la mia istanza è di fatto insostanziata – anche perché i padiglioni sono "rotabili" sul loro asse verticale, il ché rende il tutto "quasi piatto" e assai meno ingombrante, per un trasporto di fatto ben più pratico, anche in assenza di una bustina dedicata. se vogliamo tessere altre lodi, poi, possiamo aggiungere il packaging del prodotto: cartone riciclato e riciclabile, inchiostro planet-friendly, bustine e plastiche ridotte al minimo sindacale, niente fil-di-ferro gommato per il cavo di connessione – bravi, anche in questo! sarà mica il caso di acquistarne un altro pezzo, per sicurezza, finché è in catalogo, nel caso che questo possa restare vittima di un incidente in ufficio? forse sì, data la qualità e le prestazioni sarebbe decisamente una mossa saggia. consegna puntuale, peccato solo che il bipede con il furgone della maison del sorriso guida da meritarsi l'immediato ritiro della patente, e ha lanciato il pacco nel cortile neanche fosse una stella del basket.
