GREAT STUFF! THIS HAS BECOME OUR GOTO LANDSCAPING FABRIC!
We love this landscape fabric. This is our second order. This time we ordered for our daughter. She was so impressed with how well this barrier performed in our yard. We wanted to suppress the growth under our hedges, so we removed all the weeds, turned the soil, and put down new topsoil. We placed the fabric on top of the soil and covered everything with medium-sized landscaping rocks! Our house looks fantastic. We also learned from our pest control technician that the landscape fabric is also a deterrent to bugs. We never had a bug issue, but occasionally we would see one (it is impossible to live bug-free in Georgia.) It has been two years, we do not have bugs, and the weeds are few and far between! The installation is easy. My husband completed ours alone. It took 7 tons of rocks to cover all the areas. He and my daughter installed her fabric and covered it with 10 tons of rocks. In my book, saying that this fabric is durable is an understatement! The price is outstanding and far more affordable than the prices at the DIY store. I was just over the moon when I found this product still available on Amazon!

Works
This stuff works great but you have to get the staple to go with it to hold it down.

Ground cover
This was my first time buying a product like this. So i have nothing to compare it to except my own thoughts. When purchased this seemed to be good quality. Thick tarp like material. This was easy to roll out and use. The size was very good for the price. However, i have some weeds growing through this material so my notes about effectiveness might not be the greatest. Like i said, this was my first go at it. I might have to overlap the rows more. Or maybe all products of this kind are the same, no idea.

Great weed barrier!
Very heavy duty ground cover. I used this in my flower bed area and then put rock on top. It has been down for a bit and so far no weeds are coming through. I would highly recommend this product.

This Stuff "ROCKS" When Using Stones In Your Landscaping (pun intended)
Hot and humid Southwest Florida. Year around growth of weeds from seeds blown in the wind or "deposited" by birds and other animals. The only way to get professional results in your mulched/stoned landscaping is to use a commercial grade ground cover instead of those light and flimsy ones sold at the home improvement stores. The cheap ones rip and tear easily and allow new weeds to grow even through the cloth. This particular DeWitt material is heavy, easy to work with, and comes with a five year guarantee. I've used it in all my landscaped areas to prevent weeds from popping up while still allowing the soil to breathe and water to soak through. The "anchor staples" suggested to be sold with it are among the best staples that I've ever used, sharp enough to easily pierce the ground cloth, long enough to lock it down, and thick enough to last a long time in this climate. They're made of 11 gauge steel. Here are a few tips for you. When you lay your ground cover down, DO NOT pull it tight. A tight weed barrier is very easy to tear especially if you walk on it. If you leave it fairly loose, it will be able to shift enough underfoot to resist tearing. Avoid walking on it if you can, especially if you use stones to cover it. Use your staples sparingly for a couple of reasons. Number one is simply that the weight of the mulch or stones will hold it down well enough. I often just use the staples to keep the weed barrier in place on windy days, and then remove most of the staples, only leaving the ones in that hold down the perimeter. I cover the holes left by the removed staples with a piece of waterproof plumber's tape. The other thing worth doing is to fold some of the ground cloth over each of the staples. Every piercing you make in the weed barrier allows seeds to intrude, the exact thing that you are trying to prevent in the first place. And if you're using wood or landscape timbers to frame the area, make sure to use a heavy duty stapler to fasten the ground cloth to the sides of the wood, again leaving the cloth loose instead of fastening it tightly. This will help avoid weeds growing up between the wood frame and the mulch (or stones) you use to cover the cloth.

Great Easy to Use Product!
I appreciate the fabric vs the plastic type because it is more heavy duty, easier to fit into the space and stays in place until secured with pins (doesn't blow in the wind like lighter, plastic products.) The warranty is quite impressive, as well!
