Great Lighted Nocks
I just received these nocks in the mail on Thursday, 1/2/14. I inserted the nocks into my arrows in a matter of minutes. One of the benefits that these nocks offer compared to the Burt Coyote Lumenoks, is that they don't rely on contact points on the edge of the nock to be activated. I shoot Gold Tip XT Hunter 5575 arrows. I didn't need to use any bow string wax on the nock prior to inserting them. However, if you are having difficulty inserting the nock, you may want to consider using some to make it easier while inserting them. The other recommendation that I have is instead of using a pliers to remove your old nock or insert your new nock, use a Gorilla Grip arrow puller. You don't have to worry about scuffing up or possibly cracking the nocks during the install or removal. The Gorilla grip works great. When I installed the nock, I simply lined up the nock with the cock fletching and pushed the nock flush to the end of the arrow. There was no prepping the arrow by making it square which was a considerable time saver. I went to the archery range on Friday morning and was extremely impressed with how efficiently and consistently the nocks performed. I used these nocks for approximately one hour and did not have any of the three malfunction. One of the most noticeable benefits of these nocks is how easy it is to turn them off. Inside of the nock is a colored collar. Once the arrow is shot down range, the collar shifts towards the arrow which activates the light within the nock. When you retrieve your arrow, you simply take another field tip, in my case I used the tip of a pen, and you insert it into the opening at the base of the nock, and push the colored collar up towards the tip of the nock until the light goes off. You don't need a lot of force, just enough to get it back into position. It is extremely simplistic. The one thing I was concerned about when I started shooting the lighted-nock was the additional weight of 20 grains added to the arrow. What I discovered is that the flight of my arrow is the same as it was with a standard nock. I currently shoot a Mathews Drenalin with a 28-inch draw length set at 65 pounds. I have been able to shoot as far as 50 yards and no pin adjustments have been necessary. The one, slight negative about this nock is that it is not as bright as the Lumenoks that I shoot. However, the nock is clearly visible at 50 yards away. I am planning on video taping a practice session to see how well the nocks are traceable after being shot I do not know how well these nocks are visible in natural light, because I have only shot them indoors. I strongly recommend these nocks just based on the ease of use and overall performance. If you are unsure of what to buy, purchase a couple different brands and try them out so you are able to find what best suits you.

Awesome
Always have and will always use these. Great long lasting battery. Very bright and very good quality. if you know your arrow size would highly recommend getting the exact fit cause it’s better then the universal inserts u have to use..

Toughness and battery life.
These are by far my go to for lighted nocks. The nock in the pictures was actually hit with a field point and still stayed lit up. The battery life is way longer than the 20 hours it advertises as well. The first picture is from about noon on a Sunday. The second picture is from 7:30am on Thursday. So its still lit after about 90 hours. Which is incredible. I'll be buying a couple more packs of these real soon. If you want a tough lighted nock and you don't want to worry about battery life, get you some of these. You won't be disappointed. At least I'm not.

2 out of 3 don’t work
Looks good, feels good quality, shoots good but two of three nocks don’t light up at all. Tried resetting them and shot them a couple times and still didn’t work. I got in contact with them an sent me a new pack. They work like a champ.

Great bright lights!
Definitely love these nocks! I cannot attest to their battery life as I have only used them for a couple of hours at most, but so far they are working great. The light is very bright and I have not had any issues with them not turning on upon releasing an arrow thus far. However, getting the nocks to "turn off" is a bit difficult. It takes a good amount of force and the only nonspecific "tool" that I have found to work consistently well is a tip of a small knife. Other than that, great product! The GTs fit my Gold Tip arrows perfectly and I haven't noticed my arrows flying any differently in comparison to when I had the old nocks on. As long as the battery life is solid, I will certainly be buying more.

Great tool to make seeing where your arrows hit and cool to watch them fly.
I started using the Nocturnal nocks to make it easier to see where my arrows hit the targets. Some of the targets on the field course I shoot are in shady locations and up to 80 yards away, which makes it hard to see the arrows even with my Vortex 6x range finder. The Nocturnal lights turn on when you release the arrow, so you can easily watch the flight path and see about where the arrow hit the target. (I say about because the nock and the tip are not always perfectly in alignment so it can be a little deceptive). Loved being able to see the arrows in flight, so in addition to the two 80 yard targets on the course, I moved back to 95 and then 100 yards just to try the nocturnal nocks and my new sight. ( I was also testing out a new Trophy Ridge React One Pro Dovetail which I highly recommend) Pretty amazing being able to follow the flight all the way into the targets. The Nocturnal nock tool made it very easy to remove the old nocks and install the Nocturnal nocks, it's easy to turn them off too. I'd suggest aligning the turn off hole with the white fletching on all the arrows. I highly recommend these and will be buying more when I run down the batteries on these.
