Superior Threads Omni 40-Weight Polyester Sewing Quilting Thread Cone 6000 Yard (#3021 Ash Gray)

Just a heads-up for anyone looking at this ASH GRAY color: the actual thread is much lighter and warmer than the listing picture on Amazon. On my monitor, the spool in the listing looks medium light steel gray. In person, it is a very light warm grey. As to quality, I have quite a bit of Omni by Superior Threads and like it; it works fine for my uses: piecing and free-motion quilting. However, it is a bit linty and my machine refuses to auto thread it. That said, good all around thread at a decent price.

Very nice thread and at an incredible price point for the amount you receive. The same amount of Dual Duty is 2 times the cost of this equally great thread. I use this eggshell/barely offwhite shade, or black, 90% of the time in my newer computerized Bernette and it works just as well in my beloved 1960's and 1970's vintage machines.

These are superior threads and the only threadsthat I will buy and the only Threads that I will use and trustto sew my quilts

This thread is obviously significantly more costly than most cones of serger thread, but you get what you pay for. I use this with my industrial straight stitch machine and in the needles on my industrial serger. It's very strong and smooth (excellent quality) and almost never breaks, unlike the cheaper threads that constantly break while sewing (the time to constantly re-thread is not worth the savings in the cost of thread). I also use it for occasional cover stitching with athletic leggings- the thread is holds up very well to repeated heavy washing without fuzzing, which is a problem with cheaper threads. Highly recommend- this is my go-to thread!

As I stated above, this was a gift for someone else, not for personal use. But the party said it was of very good quality.

Delivered on time and packaged well for shipping. A good price for such a large amount of thread and my new sewing machine likes it. I will be buying more.

A great thread to use in your serger or sewing machine. Superior threads are high quality and good for quilting, garment sewing or in decor projects around the house.

I have a quilting business, and this is the thread that I do 90% of my sewing with. Strong, never jams, ready to thread. My only negative is that it does produce a fair amount of lint, so you will have to clean your machine regularly.

The "Maple" colour is darker in the picture. I'd normally say it's my screen, but I haven't had this issue with the other colours and I've bought 17 in total so far. If you have Beige from New Brothread, don't bother buying this particular colour.
