King’s Throne Book #2 String of Fate, Bianca D’ArcI am a big fan of Bianca D’Arc’s reads and I started with her Brotherhood of Blood, went onto her Tales of the Were, Redstone Clan and now String of Fate. I’m so glad I started her reads the way I did. By doing so I didn’t miss a beat. I love the way she pulls these reads together ever so discreetly. The mention/involvement of previous characters, the one tie they all have regarding the Venifucus and keeping her disciples at bay and destroying any effort of resurrecting her. If you are new to Bianca D’Arc a good place to start if you want the full impact of her reads is Brotherhood of Blood. Trust me you will not be disappointed.King’s Throne is a continuation of Cat’s Cradle (great read by the way). When Mitch is severely beaten and poisoned. Gina’s friend Ellie calls for her help. Ellie being a nurse knew her limitations and knew she needed a doctor. It’s here that Gina’s secrets are revealed. She is a “Tigre Blanche exiled Princess”. King’s Throne picks up where Gina is heading back to her parents stronghold with Mitch in tow. She’s taking a chance bringing someone to her family’s safe haven but she has no choice. Here blood is very special and can heal shifter and human alike, but when she gave Mitch her blood then a special elixir the reaction was bad. She needed to get Mitch as well as herself to someplace safe where he could begin to heal. Several days in Mitch was barely coming along even after Gina gave more of her blood. When finally his body was able to push the poison out and his body started to heal he felt different. Something was different and it wasn’t until he and Gina shifted that he got the shock of his life. No longer the golden tiger but instead a tigre’ blanche. Mitch’s destiny and life will be changed forever.I got the chills in several parts of this read. One where Frederick (exiled Tig’ Ra) Candis (Tig’ Ren), Gina and Mitch where are the sacred circle and a shaft of bright sun broke through a cloud focusing on him was actually magic sent by the Goddess. The way this scene is described and plays out is amazing. The other was during the battle/challenge with Gisli (Frederick’s brother) and how the Grim empowered Mitch. OMG is all I can say. The other was on the Grim when Frederick and Mitch went to return the piece of young Fridrik’s pelt that was stolen. When young Fridrik appeared and what he said brought tears to my eyes.A fabulous read of love, loyalty and honor. Ying/Yang, good vs evil and good does prevail.Oh and the Epilogue OMG the Epilogue with Ria Nyx of Pantera noir and the tall dark and delicious man who asks her to dance. When she introduced herself to him his reply was I know, “I’m Ellie’s brother, Jacob. I’ve been seeing you in my dreams for months now, lovely Ria. I so can’t wait for this next book god I hope it releases soon. Bianca Grand Slam again in my book!!!!!

She is called upon by her BFF to treat a Royal Guard to Ria queen of the Nyx (panther queen) He is a golden tiger the only one trusted enough to be so, but who has been poisoned by unknown. Could this be a plan of Fate?Mitch is a golden tiger that was orphaned at a young age, but adopted by the panther and has the title of Royal Guard. Now he is being attended by a beautiful Dr. that is a very rare white tiger and has made it her mission to save him even give him her blood, but will it have an adverse reaction on Mitch? Will it be for better, or worse? Will he be able to resist the attraction he has for the Princes, after all he is a golden Royal Guard and she is Royalty, or does the Mother have other plans for them? Who is Mitch really, what really happened to his parents all those many years ago?A lot of mystery, intrigue and magic, plus the almighty hotness and an ending that will surprise you.

Half way through the book got tired of the story and skipped almost to the end. The ending was better. So far these books do not really fit in with the others. The story was just ok. Will read the next book because I bought all 3 at the same time.

The kings and queens of old would be awe inspired by the amount of magic and power these two hold. I loved every minute of this book! The characters are phenomenal and the story flowed so smoothly from the last book. I enjoyed getting to watch these two come into their own, and make their way to each other. Not to mention the shaking up they did on the way to their HEA. Sigh, so good! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and see what happens next. From the epilogue it promises to be delicious.

The story of Mitch and Gina was simply great, in my book! I saw the whole story in my mind, just like a movie. When I read books in that manner, I know that I have read an authoress with great talent. If, you like or love the Shifter genre ... Get this book and enjoy the characters, the intriguing magic and simply enjoy yourself.

This is a story about a princess that saves a royal guard and cannot fight the mating bond between them. This pairing sets off a series of magical changes that effects the lives of an entire clan of shifters. There is an epic battle and uncovering true evil. Well worth reading.

This was an engaging book from beginning to end. Well developed characters and storyline. Kept me reading well into the night. Can’t wait to read the next in the series.

It did end on a cliffhanger. But in the best way . Wish I had the money to buy the next book. We shall see.

There Mitch and Gina learn more about each other, including Mitch's true identity.Add a wicked uncle, plots and magic, before the truth becomes clear and all ends well.

My first dive into this series and I enjoyed it.Gina and Mitch work great together and they're both characters to care about.The story has lots going on, romance, danger, destiny and a life taking a new route.I'm sure characters from previous books (which I haven't read) appear in this story but I still felt a connection to the story.3.75

A story that didn't live up to its potential for me. The set up was good young warrior falls for the girl that saves him only to get swept up in her family drama. Unfortunately I found the character development to be practically non-existent, the POV gets switched at awkward times and there is a lot of background admin going on. The big climax happens 3/4 of the way through and I feel like the whole last quarter of the book could have been handled in 1 well written chapter.

This was a pleasant read, with a strong storyline, but once the two characters got together the storyline become rushed and did not absorb me as a reader. Prior to the relationship starting, I was hanging on every word, but afterwards it became only a summary of the storyline. It was almost like I was reading only the author’s notes.

Exciting, fast paced events with lots of twists and turns and unexpected surprises chucked in the story and romance. Liked the fact that it was not just a romantic story but had a very descriptive story and several different sub plots within that all came together in the end. Will read more books by this author
