My grandson was wanting this book for a long time. Was so thankful to find it for him.

I love this book since it was read to me by the author in grade school

I grew up reading Bill Wallace, I bought this book for my niece and she loves it. She owns a goldendoodle that looks extremely similar to the dog on the cover, so that's just an added bonus.No child can resist a good Bill Wallace story, 10/10 recommend if your kid loves animals especially dogs/cats

I read this book when I was little, and to this day, I remember it and still love it. I have bought it a ton of times since then for my nephews and now my son. Timeless and still makes me cry!

I read this book as a child (well over 30 years ago) and loved it. It was the first book I remember reading that I got emotionally invested in and thus loaned it to a friend that kept it and is letting her children read it. So, I have now purchased it to share with my own children and can’t wait to read it again myself.

I used to read this to my class at school before I retired and they loved it. I lost my copy so ordered this for my grandchildren. It's a wonderful story - be prepared for lots of laughs and some tears.

Great book. I’ve read this book to my reluctant dyslexic students at my school. Several sought additional Bill Wallace books to read afterwards. I recently gave it to my third grade grandson to read and he loved it as well. He has since read four more Bill Wallace books.

Great deal on a book for my daughter. She became a fan of Bill Wallace books when she was gifted one and she loved it. Some of his other books were listed on the back of her first book so I googled a couple and Amazon popped up with a low price for a used copy in great condition. This is a very cute story appropriate for children ages 8-12 I'd say. My daughter was in 3rd grade when she started reading this author's books. I have also purchased similar books on Amazon and have been very pleased with the gently used quality.

I bought this book now because I will be giving the one I have to my nephew. I read this book to his dad when he was young, and we experienced all the emotions together. Now I hope to pass that on in hopes that my nephew will have the same experience with his dad as they read it together.Reading to your kids is always a good thing. Finding good books isn't always easy. This book takes you all over the adventures of a boy and a dog, and you can make memories of your own as you read it with your kids. Can't recommend this one enough.
