Works for me, holds my 2kg projector
I needed a small tripod for my Nebula Cosmos projector that I have in my living / TV room (which weighs 2kg). I actually used, for a few days, the smaller tripod from this same company (which is rated for 1kg). It actually worked perfectly. I was just scared about overloading it and my expensive projector falling. That smaller model uses a push button to rotate / secure the ball. This slightly larger unit uses a twist screw, which seems more stable and secure. This model is rated for 2.5kg; so, that makes me rest easier. I don't see much use for the extendable legs. But, this unit does seem to sit slightly wider, for a slightly more sturdy stance. For now, it seems great and I am happy with it. I don't plan to ever move it (unless I move; I have a portable projector for on the go use). Hopefully it provides years of use while I have this projector.

Very good for hiking to limit weight
Bought this tripod mainly to take with me on hikes or travel with limited luggage. The tripod is well built and fits in every camera bag or case. It is easy to use and has two tripod leg positions. The lower one can be especially useful for close-ups on the ground. I used the tripod with mounted mirrorless camera a couple times to take group shots with shutter self-release, so I didn't need to have the camera sitting on the ground or an uneven other material. The tripod's ballhead is very sturdy and can manage a good front-loaded lens weight without flipping over. Only disadvantage I found so far is a missing tripod mount plate. It takes a bit longer to screw and unscrew the camera onto the tripod. Also make sure you have either a flip screen on the camera or even better a vertical electronic viewfinder (like the VF-2) to allow to focus and compose with the camera sitting in the low height position.

100% Manfrotto Quality
This tripod has a couple really cool and useful features, and is far superior to any other table top tripod I've used. The extensible legs alone are worth the price of admission - the fact every other aspect of the tripod is better than anything else available just makes it a better deal. Quality - robustness - utility - weight: all positives. My only 'wish' is if it had a removable mount or that the 1/4-20 screw thumbwheel were a bit larger; it's a bit tough to get tight when attaching to a full frame 35mm body. Works fine on the larger SLR-like point and shoots with thinner bodies. But this is a trivial nit-pick; not at all a concern.

Great little tripod!
Great little tripod. I purchased this item used but, it looked brand new and never used. Perfect! It's sturdy, compact, light, and easy to use. So far though, I've only used it to hold my camera while I am doing some in-camera editing of photos. This is especially nice as it saves arm and neck strain from holding the camera while viewing my photos on the LCD screen. Very happy with my purchase.

Easy to carry anywhere
Just got back from 2 week vacation and I never once used my full-size tripod. I was shooting with a Fuji X-T30 II (full size mirrorless camera), probably 2-3 lbs weight. This mini-tripod allowed me to do long exposures in churches, museums, etc. without being hassled and it was easy to set up and use. Granted, it's not easy to compose a shot when you're setting the camera 4 inches off the floor! But often I could set it on a railing or bench and--for example-- it was enough stabilization to get the shot inside Livraria Lello at1/8 second, f16. It may not be as good for really looooong exposures but I won't travel anywhere without it from now on.

Best Overall Mini Tripod w/Adjustible Legs
I already own a 60" tripod for my DLSR camera. I've been researching various vendors for an adapter for my iPhone. When I came across the Vonjean Universal Smartphone Tripod Adapter, being sold on Amazon, there was a number of mini tripods from various vendors too. When I saw that Manfrotto had a number of them too, I checked all of the various styles. The price was very reasonable for all of them; but, the deciding factors for me were that they not only, accept phones, with or without cases, but, also, have adjustable legs (for uneven platforms, or, if you need to get down really close to your subject), they also, have a swiveling ball for various angles. Plus, you can close up the legs and use it like a selfie stick, or at a parade, (if you have an obstruction in front of you).

My best Manfrotto purchase. Well my only one anyway.
This was my 1st Manfrotto purchase and I went into it with just a hint of trepidation for I had believed many photographers buy Manfrotto for the name and not for the build quality. Well, for now I will swallow those thoughts with pride for this little bad boy has exceeded my expectations. My goal in looking for a mini tripod was one that can handle a FF DSLR with a FF lens attached like a 16-35 or 24-70 or 24-105. Many will say that most of these kind of tripod's just can't handle it, that they aren't made for that, well this one can handle it. There are a few YouTube videos by people that claim this can handle the weight, that the weight rating is less than what it can do and they are correct. The red dot knob tightens the ball head really well. I would however still take precautions that Manfrotto recommends like extending the legs for better balance but even though there's a chance the tripod could fall over, the ball head won't give way. Everything else they say like it feels good in your hands to the compactness to the overall form and function are all correct. And the best part, you are getting a Manfrotto and a very reasonable price IMO.

Nice little table top tripod. Made of aluminum and abs plastic. Build quality is good like with all manfrotto products. And you get 5 year warranty when you register your product which is nice as well. I put my canon 7D mk2 with battery grip and 2 batteries in it and an Arca Swiss L-bracket on this tripod with no issues. I have to mention that the camera stays upright. So didn't mount it on an angle because I know it will get unstable that way. Just wanted to see if it could support the weight and it did with no issues. I know it's not rated for this weight so I'm not using it for that. But good to know just in case. Operation is simple and the leg extensions is more for extra stability than gaining height because it doesn't gain much height when fully extended. I've seen some videos on YouTube about this product and one guy said you can just pull and extend the legs. Although this works, I wouldn't recommend it because the legs are plastic and run over an aluminium rail attached to the ball head. So things can wear out faster that way. Also the manual says to push the button when extending it. The ball head is very beefy and sturdy and locks in place very well. As with everything made of soft metals. Don't crank it down, tight is tight and holds very well. Cranking it down can leave marks over time on the ball inside the head and that might affect any micro adjustments you want to make in the future.
