Simple. Easy to use. And even if I do say so myself, look rather good!! So I have an 8ft tank that needs a lid rebuilding. I can’t afford £200+ for lighting. I had some waterproof leds running up the middle (white bit) but as you can see it’s not long enough. My end spots failed after they were slapped by my Oscar fish. So I thought I’d give these a go. Set to the green/blue white light. Suction cup to the support struts and voila ! Moody spots! Suction seems ok. We all know that suction cups don’t last forever in the aquarium, but my pack of 2 have come with 2 spare which is excellent. Be aware that they do NOT come with batteries, but that’s fine I have Rechargeables at home anyway. Very easy to put together. Remote appear to work well. Although for some reason one wouldn’t turn in at first, but making sure the remote was off, putting batteries in again sorted that. These are so effective I may well invest in another set next month! No idea about using in a hot tub, but for the aquarium if you want spot lighting, these are a cheap and very effective way of lighting larger, or smaller aquariums!

I bought a set of 4 lights for my boat. They arrived very quickly and after fitting the batteries a was a little disappointed when one of them didn't work properly. I contacted the seller, Squaremake. Helena from Customer Services got back to meimmediately and apologised for the inconvenience and offered me advice on things I should do first to try and reset the faulty light. She reassured me that she would send me out a replacement if this didn't work. It didn't work so Helena sent me out a replacement along with another remote which arrived a couple of days later. Helena kept in contact with me the whole way through this and I can honestly say it was the best customer service I have ever received from any seller. As for the lights, they are extremely high quality and very well made. They can be set up to come on all together and they remember the last colour they were set too. With 13 leds, they are very bright which I like but they can be dimmed. The blue colour really sets my boat off and they are great safety lights as I can turn them on from quite a distance away which is very useful when waking back to the boat along a dark jetty. They have so many uses too, such as outside lighting around the garden, night lights for children, under cabinet lighting. They even have a built in timer. I cannot recommend these lights and this seller (which incidentally is a small business) highly enough. You can buy from them with confidence.

These are very bright lights and set off my pond and water features well. They also work well as a general light in a dark area, or be used to light up the garden. The units are very heavy, and although the suction caps are very firm - the surface must be really clean and smooth to have a good hold. The weight of the unit mens, conversely, that any metal surface on which they are to be mounted must be a little rough otherwise they slide down. The units may be watertight when screwed ully home, but given that they are plastic and may break if overtightened, it is hard to know when they are as tight as required to prevent water getting in. I used some PTFE tape around the thread and this gives a good seal. Two remotes are supplied, which is very useful, but the remotes have a habit of only operating 3 of the 4 lights (and not always the same 3) even when they are situated together, and may have to be operated several times to get all 4 to come on/go off. As has been said, and unsurprisingly, the lights all have to work on the same setting, there is no random pattern possible. Not all of the colour changes are obvious -i.e. they may not be fully operating across the 16 advertised colours.

the lights are great, bright and last quite a few hours. Problem is that the suction cups are too big and won't stick to standard pool mosaic tiled walls, so they fall off and lay on the ground where you can't reach them with the remote control. We will use them as garden party lights now, but for this there would have been cheaper non water tight options. If there would be a different way of fixing them to pool walls they would be perfect.

These are great lights. I already have 2 in an inflatable hot tub but wanted 2 more to give more atmospheric lighting. As with the first 2 they work a treat and throw out a good amount of light. The different colours and modes are really good and they are totally waterproof. The controller for the first 2 also works the new ones so you don't need to use 2 controllers. The suckers don't stick to the bottom of my hot tub as it's not smooth but the weights keep them on the bottom and the right way up and they don't move about much. They arrived on time and we'll packed. Great lights, good seller, nice price. What more could you ask for. Recommended.

Had two of these for 4 days now. Suction lasts all of 20 seconds before being dislodged by the water. So they end up swirling around the bottom of the hot tub. I suppose the lights still are effective and remote works good. Metal magnets on the back of the lights have all rusted already after only such a short time is disappointing. I have purchased the bestway as an alternative which is working great. Doesn’t move and doesn’t have mental to rust. Just disappointed with the fact I have to chase it around the tub

They look fabulous wherever I place them! Amongst my pots of plants as up lighters, they look very effective when it darkens. The purple is my favourite colour it looks quality! I also have them in my hot tub. They sink as they’re heavy but do float about in the turbulence as the jets are going, which look quite effective any way. The lights are good, bright and waterproof. I remove them from the hot tub when I’m not in it as I am unsure whether the constant heat may effect the batteries or not. (Only to preserve the battery life. ) They are good and I recommend these as they are bigger and brighter than other makes. Buying more!! For other parts of my garden. Everyone who sees my hot tub with the lights on and the planters glowing setting the ambience, comment on how effective the lights are. I love them!!
