This is hands down one of my favorite CDs.
We first saw Christine and the Queens perform Titled on the Graham Norton show. My fiancee and I were instantly hooked and I wanted to find out if the rest of her music was as catchy. I spent the next few days searching the internet for more about her. The more I learned about her as a person and a performer, the more I loved her and her music. We just got the CD and listened to it all the way through. Every song is good. That's rare. I usually end up with some I like and some I don't and skip through the ones I don't. I listened and enjoyed every single track. She writes and composes all of her own music and I really respect that. She's the whole package: talented, new, and socially responsible about contemporary society. Her music reflects her inner life and her poetry is accessible yet profound with layers of meaning. Her music is well crafted and will stick with you long after you've heard it.Give her a try, I honestly don't know why she isn't a bigger deal in America yet.

Christine and the Queens
This woman's music presentation reminds me a great deal of the music associated with Cirque Du Soliel. It is haunting, and quite compelling. If I am correct, this is a recording that was created at a small independent studio? With that said, the endings to many of her songs are a little bit too abrupt, and there is at least one problem with the meter (timing)... but all in all, I like her presentation, and I hope that the buying public supports her as I would like to see what she continues to produce in the future?

My first album but not last.
I came across Christine and the Queens by total chance as I was listening to an Amazon created playlist on Amazon music and I fell in love with 'Tilted'.Thanks to my prime membership I was able to stream it until Amazon pulled it and removed it from their streaming service, in essence forcing my hand to buy it, so I did and have loved listening to it on repeat.

LOVE IT!
Absolutely wonderful music CD.I saw her perform on the Graham Norton Show and I was mesmerized. It was the first time I heard the song. I purchased the CD and was telling everyone about it. I don't do that very often. She performed on several shows in the states and I never got tired of it.

New and very fun
I nearly hit the 'stop' button when these artists started playing on the Daily Show, so glad I kept watching - I fell in love. I love the thin mixes, vocals, and synths - together with the 'performance art', the songs are compelling. I like that they are not so 'over produced' like so many young US pop "artists". Christine and the Queens have a charming 'amaturistic' quality that adds to the intrigue. Keep it up !

Delightfully brilliant singer awesome lyrics too
You may go deep in her intelligent conversations she has in interviews. She perceives far and near within her music which is beyond fabulous and she's a sublime artist performer with great eloquent moves. Elton John is right about her she rocks

Good well produced CD
Music and singing all great, in spite of some being in French (or because of that).
