Works great. I have a comment about other review that took issue with the orange glow that it emits when on. If you mount it where the light is on the underside of your hat bill than the orange glow is very evident. I mounted my where the light is on top of the hat bill. The orange glow is not as strong or noticeable. Also the light mounted in this way still pivots down to your work area, so no loss in the amount of light you have to work with.

I bought these for early morning runs. I like to wear a hat when I run, but hats are incompatible with headlamps. But this light is designed to clip on the underside of the bill of a baseball cap. It's really good and very bright. The charge lasts for probably 5 to 6 hours, which for me is about 6 to 8 runs. It's very light and I don't feel it on my hat. It's also very stable. It has a swivel so I can point it down to the ground. Safety-wise, it's great. A friend of mine drove by me early one morning before the sun came up and said I was all lit up. He said it was very easy to spot me. That's another reason I wear the light.. so that people see me and don't run me over. Although I bought it for running, I find myself using it in lots of different situations, including household projects. It's incredibly handy. I recommend these highly.

Great headlamps!

Lost my original light so bought these for this hunting season. Heres the results Pros: very bright, long battery life, memory on last mode used Cons: heavy, because it mounts under the hat bill it blinds you when using because the orange plastic around light doesn’t keep the light from shining in your eyes. I colored mine with a permanent marker to help but didn’t eliminate it. I got by. Note to manufacturer, replace the orange plastic with black.

I work in a refinery and these are light weight for the hard hat. As a QC Inspector this is great when working night shift on a turnaround. The option for different level of brightness is perfect and the angles are perfect. Also you can put clip it on upside down and you get more angle downwards. But as it comes is perfect. The battery lastes long time. I usually charge after my second night of use. I also used them on my ballcap for night fishing. These are very light wight and thin not in sight blocking way.

I love this cap light. It is light weight and holds charge well and performs incredibly well. It’s perfect for fishing or any outdoor activities at night. The angle that you can adjust the light is very convenient as it can be adjusted at any angle without needing to click into place and miss the perfect lighting angle. It includes everything you need. If you are interested in buying this, I would say pick up two pairs.

The orange needs to go. It should be black to avoid glare. I’m in agreement with others that the permanent marker covering up the orange helps. Also the pivot moves more up than down. This makes NO since. It’s designed to go under the cap bill and would be nice to have the option to go on top. This would not hinder your view. Otherwise, it’s a adequate brightness and I like the feature of being able to turn it off without cycling through each mode No complaints on the weight and stays on my cap well. Battery life is good.

Simple 1-Button switch to adjust brightness settings for a flooded light output. The swivel is a bonus feature. It met my needs, heck I was even Ok with the transparent orange until I had to do some overhead electrical in the dark. No problem, I used a T-6 driver, removed the bottom orange cover, scuffed it up, sprayed a couple of coats of flat black. Done no Orange glow. This was an easy fix. However, I would prefer a top mounted light for an unrestricted view. I tried this light on top. Not ideal. I would purchase again.

Battery life is good, light output is good. Only slight drawback is it pulls the front of your hat down so your constantly adjusting. Otherwise its been good. Been using mine in a dealership setting.

Hvac tec here and I like to wear a ball cap, this in perfect and alot more comfortable then a standard Headlamp and you dont have to worry about if you brought your aa's on the call.

These are very bright and last a long time on a single charge
