I bought his type of belt originally to get through airport security as they have no metal within them. But after having these for several years, I find that they are far superior than most leather belts sold today. These are far stronger than leather and the belt buckle, although very plain is made of a strong reinforced nylon polymer. The durability is fantastic. These days, most so called leather belts are made of either a poor quality of leather, over tanned to make them soft or laminated with a type of cardboard. These newer leather ones in my mind are garbage. The ones made prior to 1980 were quite good and last for ever. The new ones are mostly junk.

Solid belt. Nice webbing. The 32-34 (I'm a 34) didn't leave anything to hang on to when putting the webbing through the strap so that one would fit a 30 or 28 waist. Returned it. Not sure why the longer belts are cheaper? I bought the biggest one which was the cheapest and will just cut it.

Mi objetivo al comprar este cinturón era que fuera menos voluminoso en la hebilla que los cinturones tradicionales para que no se vea como una bola bajo la playera al usarla por fuera del pantalón, NO SALIO COMO ESPERABA, la hebilla inclusive es mas voluminosa que una tradicional pero no es error del producto es mío, pero quede muy satisfecho por que es de muy buena calidad, muy resistente y con el plus de que no me detendrán en los detectores de metal de los aeropuertos por ser la hebilla de plástico, soy talla 33 de pantalón y pedí el grande y sobra un pedazo considerable, la talla mediana hubiera sido la correcta y para mi original objetivo de compra ya encontré otro cinturón que no usa hebilla ya que es de velcro :)
