Perfect replacement

Excellent replacement lamp for my Epson 3800 Home Cinema projector. My projector is finally back to a bright vibrant image, as the old bulb had become dim and washed out after many hours of use. Highly recommended, this performs just as good as the original OEM bulb.

Our Epson projector began to flash the warning to replace the bulb and we noticed the projecte images were not nearly as bright and crisp as they had been. We use this projector a lot for training programs and meetings in our office so we ordered this replacement bulb. We received the new lamp bulb and replaced it easily following the included instructions. Once we installed it we realized just how poor the quality of the images had been getting. It had happened gradually so we had not really noticed it until we put the new one in and saw once again just how bright and crisp our images should have been. Definitely works great and the price is so reasonable for this type of bulb. We will be ordering one to keep on hand so we can change it as soon as we notice any deterioration of the images.

I've got an Epson Cinema projector and this lamp is a perfect replacement for the OEM lamp.I've been running the projector in Eco mode to extend the life of the lamp. However, you can tell that the brightness just isn't as good as it was when new. Even on the full power mode the brightness has decreased.Replacing the bulb is pretty easy. Just pop off the lamp cover, unscrew the 2 lamp screws and lift out the old lamp with the metal handle. Replacement is just the reverse. My projector is mounted to the ceiling so the lamp cover is facing straight down. There is a warning in the Epson manual to keep your face from being directly under the lamp opening in case there are any small glass fragments inside. Also, they recommend not removing the lamp for an hour after it has been turned off to give it sufficient time to cool down. I feel like I have a new projector now that the lamp has been replaced.Overall, I'm very happy with the new lamp and I would definitely recommend it.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

Just received this replacement lamp for my projector, and I'm immediately impressed with the packaging. Every component is carefully wrapped in protective materials - no chance of damage during shipping. The housing unit feels solid and well-made, with high-quality materials throughout. The instruction manual is clear and detailed, with helpful diagrams showing the installation process and important cooling down period warnings. While I haven't installed it yet, the build quality appears identical to my original lamp. The secure foam padding around the bulb gives extra confidence in its protection. The housing has precise connector points and smooth edges - no rough finishing or questionable assembly. Even the screws included look durable and well-made. The plastic protective cover for the lens portion is thick and secure.

We accidentally broke our lamp bulb when we dropped our Epson Brightlink projector and had to order a new bulb. Epson charges quite a bit for the bulb and we found this Yosun replacement bulb so we ordered it and used in in the projector. It fit in just like the original one did and worked perfectly. Gives us pictures just as clear and colorful as when we had the original bulb in it. Works really well and easy to install!

If I would have known how much of a difference it would have been to change the bulb on my projector, I would have done so way sooner! The brightness on my original bulb has been very lackluster to say the least. I do NOT want to wait for it to burn out before I take care of it either. We use our projector for playing video games as well as movie nights and more. The brightness difference is incredible and eye-opening, I feel like I basically went out and got a new projector! The OEM bulb is something I will NEVER use again after using this one which is non OEM. This assures that you will achieve the maximum amount of brightness that is capable of being put out by this bulb.

I have been a loyal brand-name guy for years but with my projector a little older, and always waiting on Epson to have the lamps in stock, I went with YOSUN. I've been eyeing them for a while and I'm happy I finally made the switch. My projector was a little washed out and the darks didn't show well. This new lamp made a change. My Reds are red again, my black is black again. Honestly, I thought it was my projector but I'm extremely happy with my decision and will continue to support YOSUN.
