Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Crème

Perfect hair style even on a rainy foggy day. Excellent for thin frizzy hair.

This is a great product if you need a leave-in conditioner. I do and have been using it for a few years based on my stylist's recommendation. She is very particular about which products she carries and has carried Oribe products for a few years now. (She and her salon was listed on InStyle's "little black book" top 10 salons in the country.) It leaves your hair shiny, soft, treats some flyaway hairs, and has a nice scent. It doesn't take a lot to cover the whole head and, unlike some other brands, doesn't clump in the hair or add noticeable weight to it.My hair is medium length, past the shoulders, thick, naturally curly and coarse without products. I have 2 types of hair on my head (enough for 2 people!). The top layers are more coarse and curly and the hair that is on the bottom half of my head is more smooth and wavy. The creme works for both hair types.This leave in conditioner helps to give my hair some shine and protect the ends. I use it in addition to a few other Oribe products including their shampoo, conditioner mix the Supershine Moisturizing Creme with a few drops of the Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil. (I put in half the amount of oil vs. creme and mix in my palm.) After towel drying my hair very gently and mixing the product in my palm and sharing with my fingertips, I work the product through the top layers and run my fingers down the length of it. I have to do this a second time to get all of my hair and lean over so I have all of my hair in my face to use both hands and roll it onto the ends thoroughly. After that, I run my fingers through my hair to make sure it is spread, or you can use a comb, but I recommend one of those extra large combs with the teeth far apart and only if you do it very gently so you don't tug/pull out extra hair. Your hair is very vulnerable when wet and can break off more easily. I was told to treat it like silk when wet to not damage or pull/tug out more hair than what naturally will fall out.After applying the product you can style your hair as usual. I twist my hair in a clip and let it dry naturally for curls or dry it gently and flat iron it if I want it straight. (Note the only time I personally flat iron it is when I have had a keratin treatment/brazillian blowout, which basically laminates the hair shaft, filling it porous areas if it is coarse, and makes it soft and shiny. That treatment helps protect it from heat damage and looks even better when flat ironed or curled with no fly-away issues.)I highly recommend this if you need a leave in conditioner. It's suitable for women or men!

Great product. My hair looks great and stays so well with all the humidity in florida!!

I have tried various hair oils and creams but they all seem to wear off quickly and my dry ends are especially bad in winter. This cream is different, it actually works! It’s better than some of the really expensive alternatives in texture, scent (not heavy and dissipates easily), and especially time it lasts.

I love this stuff. Great product. Lightweight and not greasy.

I've read some good reviews of Oribe's Supershine Moisturizing Cream so I bought the smaller size tube to try it. My hair fell in love with it and got the big tube on my next purchase. Will keep on purchasing it. Definitely worth the price.

The first experience I had with this product was earlier this month at a new salon. My regular stylist had an emergency so I had to quickly book a haircut at a high-end salon. I did not buy it at the salon thinking it was overpriced and surely I could get the same results using my stuff at home (it's all in the cut, right?) Of course, my hair would not cooperate when I styled it with my regular styling products. So I took a chance and ordered it from Amazon as I had a credit from another item that I returned. When it arrived, the box was smashed and it did not have a foil top over the opening so I was prepared to return it. I decided to use it once to see, if I would get the same results, I had in the salon. My hair is thick, wavy and generally difficult to style. It likes to stick out in all directions.This stuff is absolutely incredible. I mean wow!!, just wow!!! I used only a dime-size portion and my hair looks so great - just like it did when I left the high-end salon. This is an absolute first for me! This product made styling my hair so easy and it has stayed in place the entire day. Also, my hair just looks so shiny and healthy. I think this tube should last me at least 6 months or maybe more and so the price is reasonable. I have not tried the Oribe shampoo and conditioner (although they used those products on my hair at this salon too) as I started using the Maui products prior to buying this creme and after this salon visit. The gal who did my hair emphasized how important it is to use products that are sulfate, paraben, and silicone-free. I just picked the Maui products at Walmart. However, the Maui styling cream was absolutely useless for my hair. Good luck and I hope this product works for you!

Did not smell or look like the one bought previously from a salon. Returned it and will buy directly from the manufacturer or a salon next time. Similar reviews on Amazon so buyer beware with this product.
