Works, but not the best design
A couple of problems: The price point is a little high for two pieces of bend metal with holes for mounting. Second, you can't mount the Maxtrax lockable mounting posts to it. You have to use the bolts with the knobs provided, which provide no security for your expensive Maxtrax. So, in order to properly prevent theft, you will need to cable lock them to the rack. If you need to do that, you might as well use tie down straps along with the cable lock and save yourself the expense. Rhino really needs to rethink this design in order to justify the expense. Especially if you are using about $15 in materials to construct it.

Hard to find recovery board brackets. This worked out perfect for what we needed for our adventures and overlanding

Very disappointed to find that these mounts do not fit my Rhino recovery Board, even though it states will work with all major brands. I planned on mounting them to my roof rack which is a Rhino SMR 500 roof rack and mounts did fit that but when I tried to mount recovery boards they would not fit the mounts. Mounts would not clear recovery boards so it was impossible to mount them. Side note that this seller was going to charge me return shipping and a 20% restocking fee when this was falsely advertised as working with all major brand recovery boards
