Great kit for N scale
Good model when assembled. The work platforms have the most detail and were a bit of a challenge but worth it. The building lacked detail but was easy to put together. Paint to taste, the building will need it.

a pain but worth it
It was a pain to put together, especially when you are trying to put the walls up. I had a difficult time holding all four walls up and putting glue on. I would definitely buy the accelerator to speed up the drying of the glue. I was running low on accelerator so my walls kept falling down. I love that it came with a little fence. Hate that I had to cut the fabric to go around the posts. Ran out of glue putting fence on so I just pushed it through holes in the fabric. Luckily the posts went in little holes in the bottom because otherwise the posts would not be a straight as they were. It looked really neat put together. I would suggest buying the HO Scale Interior for Northern Light & Power Powerhouse -- Kit to go with it because there would be no way the roof would have any support.

Thought it was out of production/ Quick seller response
Was unable to locate this item on the Walthers web site (probably out of prod) - looks like part # changed at some point, as the part no in the "MRR Guide to Freightyards" book was not correct (where you can find a built version picture). So I was happy to find it out on the web and order (from TRAIN SETS ONLY) via Amazon. Seller was quick in response and item arrived quickly, safe and sound - will not construct for a month or so, but am looking forward to scenic-ing this item in my yard, and hopefully it will cool the basement off during the summer:) So I will revisit the review after constructing but so far happy with finding and with delivery.

Not Holding Up @ Joints
Falls apart at the joints unless you use a LOT of glue & want to hold it for 20 minutes or more.

Fits any New England Mill from the late 1800s-Today
I am using this product to replicate a tack factory built around 1900. This mill fits the bill exactly, and I am planning on buying several more to increase the size of the plant. Would definitely recommend.
