Biedermann & Sons Stone Buddha Tealight Holder

This little statue approaches perfection. It is heavy, well made and even shines with bits of gold paint here and there, which would be found on many Asian Buddha statues where people use gold leaf. The mudra (position of the hands) is not common to Vajrayana or Mahayana Buddhism, but could be to Zen, with which I am not familiar. Regardless, prayerful hands are a symbol that most followers of Western religions can relate to, so I am happily comfortable with this departure from strict tradition. The statue looks especially nice with a burning tea light and would be suitable as a stand-alone, or as part of an alter. For the price, I give it 5 stars ++.

This is a gorgeous 6" x 8", 3.5 lb., heavy duty Buddha tealight candle holder! I get compliments on it all the time. It's not made of the lightweight resin material that most Buddhas I've seen (for this price). I want to say it's some sort of concrete, but I'm not quite sure what it's made from...I don't see it in the description ~ but it's nice and heavy. There are felt pads on the bottom so as not to scratch any surface that it's placed upon. I price checked and I've seen this exact same Buddha (Biedermann & Sons) and the range is between $20-$40. Amazon was, by far, the least expensive. I highly recommend this Buddha!

I love how fast it came . Also it worth the money this is my 3rd Buddha. I’m so I love with it. Nice and a perfect size for a coffee table. Also it has a small space for a candle!

Exactly as described but better! It has decent weight to it which is nice and it’s larger than I expected. Mine did arrive with one of the rubber grips & a bit of the “cement” material cracking off. But nothing a little glue can’t fix. :)

My first Buddha’s nose arrived chipped off so I requested a replacement. It got here 2 days later; as you can see from the picture (the second one), it’s nose is fine. However, there is a chip towards the bottom (and another on the back -not pictured). I’m not gonna bother asking for another replacement -at least the face isn’t chipped, so I guess it’s not a huge deal. The Buddha arrives in styrofoam, but I guess it’s not enough protection since -from personal experience- and the reviews, this happens often. Or maybe the damage happens at the facility and the pieces aren’t checked before they’re shipped? I say this because I didn’t find any broken pieces inside my package....but who knows? All this aside, it is a super nice piece. I’m happy to add it to my collection.

My New Year's resolution is to place calming things around my house to help in my meditation process.I saw this on Amazon I thought it was a great size. I don't think anyone will be disappointed. I saw no flaws. The finish makes it feel like an authentic piece. I do not have candles for it yet and I can't wait to get those.

Far exceeded my expectations, so much so that I purchased a second tea holder today. In love with the details: it is stable, solid, and looks more expensive than it is, my sister will love it! It's a delightful mini replica of the “Awakened One”.

Exactly as pictured. I use it in my meditation room. I wanted something kind of small but a good size and after searching through several different Buddha tealight holders, this one seemed like the best option and for a better price. It looks very nice and does what I need it to.
