Fantastic value for a beautiful product!
I read the great reviews for this bed and frame, and that's a big reason I bought it. This bed and frame are beautiful powder-coated metal (I bought the queen gray) and look like they'll last a hundred years. I was very impressed with how well-packed it was, not a thing could have shifted. The hardware came in little well-labeled bags with good instructions on what goes into where. Went together pretty easily, actually kind of fun, is very sturdy, NO squeaks. Even made my 25-yr-old mattress feel great. The instructions could have been a little bit larger print for old eyes like mine but a very minor point in light of the high quality of this item. Very good value for the money, arrived a day early, couldn't be happier with this purchase! And from reading the ad at the top of the page, I also saved $60 off this bed buy applying for and getting the Amazon Store card which gives 5% cash back on Amazon purchases. So for a mere bag of shells, I have a terrific bed and frame and never have to hear a squeak again! It is obvious to me that the people who work at this company take great pride in what they are making, packing, and shipping....kudos to them! This is a terrific buy and I would highly recommend it!

OUTSTANDING
I bought the coppery/brown queen frame. Unbelievably quick shipping, a couple days. (Dang box was really heavy though, I had no idea. [75lbs.]) Unpacking the bed and various parts was a long, tedious process. Ultimately, putting the bed itself together took just a bit longer than unpacking the box, i.e., it took about an hour to unpack and get all things orderly and about an hour and fifteen to put the bed together. All bolts, washers etc., had one extra for each size. The instructions were rather vague pictures but provided enough info that you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out. I had no issues assembling it, rather unbelievably, it went smoothly which was a good thing because I did it myself. I tightened everything down last and it has no wobble, creak, sway, shimmy or anything similar, just really solid/firm. Very impressive. The color is lovely, stunning really, and the bed looks beautiful. I very highly recommend. (Since the bed frame doesn't require a boxspring, I thought it prudent to put three thin 2' by 4' on top of the slats. It has worked out well and there is no sliding or movement by the mattress.) I ordered another in full size silver/grey for my daughter which demonstrates how much I appreciated the quality and beauty of the bed.

Very solid vintage style bed frame!
Apologies for the weird angle of the picture- my room is rather small! This bed frame definitely met my expectations for a sturdy vintage style bed that would support my modern memory foam mattress without needing box springs. I know we're all nervous about sight-unseen purchases from Amazon, so I wanted to break this one down a little more thoroughly. Pros: *Great price point for what you get! A regular adjustable bed frame with no slats is around a hundred dollars at W*lM*rt, and that doesn't include a headboard/footboard, so this was a great deal. * Fairly easy assembly! It did take two of us just because of the small space I had to work in. Could probably be done with one person if you had room to prop up the headboard/footboard while you attached them. Did not need any tools that it didn't come with. The instructions were clear to me- definitely pay attention when it says "Don't tighten bed frame initially"- that's printed in big red letters at every step, and was a source of jokes for me and my roommate while we assembled it, but they mean it! The slats won't go in properly if any of the bolts are fully tightened. It stays up and stable during assembly even with the bolts loose, so don't worry about that. All of the necessary parts were there, and they even give an extra of every bolt/washer/allen wrench. * Sturdy and quiet! The description doesn't lie about the foam pieces under the slats keeping it quiet and comfortable. No movement at all with me and my 60lb dog on and off of it. Cons: I will preface this section with this disclaimer- these aren't hard nos for me. Just a little bit of pickiness for anyone who may be a perfectionist. :P * One of the headboard legs was a darker color than the rest of the frame. The headboard and footboard are the same size, so the headboard comes with two legs that you bolt to it to raise it up. One leg was a darker, more brownish bronze than the rest which was a more reddish bronze (which I loved). I just put it on the side that goes against the wall. No big. Likely just a different lot of paint. * Two of the bolts didn't thread properly. But that's ok- they give you extras! * There was a scrape in the paint on the top of the headboard from shipping. It was packed very well, but things happen. It isn't huge and there's no dent, so I can touch it up with some textured Rustoleum paint of the same color. * One of the slats didn't fit quite perfectly in the slot. All of the others felt like they "clicked" in and were flush with the frame, but one sticks up just a hair. We confirmed it was the slat itself and not the plastic it fits into in the frame, but the amount it sticks up is not an issue. Overall I LOVE it. It fits my simple but vintage furniture style so well, and I don't feel like I'm going to break it. I hope this helps!!

Nice bed for the price!
I read so many reviews of inexpensive metal bed frames before I ordered... but this one seemed to have better, more thoughtful reviews so I took a chance on it... and glad I did. The bed arrived promptly and the box was in good shape. There was no damage to any of the bed pieces, and all the hardware was there including pretty good instructions. There were even a couple extra pieces of the most critical hardware items. Included were the allen wrenches and a spanner wrench needed for assembly... and everything was really wrapped well. In fact... it took quite a while to unwrap all the pieces! With my brother helping, we put the bed together in about an hour. It wasn't hard, you just need to study the instructions and pay attention. Although some of the construction seems a bit complicated for what it does... I guess it all comes down to how can they make something like this fit in such a small box? The metal was quite sturdy for this kind of product, and I suspect it will hold up pretty well too. The critical bolts all had compression rings, and the washers were all lock washers, so clearly the manufacturer spent an extra buck for better and better-designed hardware. I modified this bed in two ways: first, I painted it. The delivered color is a quite reddish, shiny copper finish. It was just way too pretty so I misted the headboard, footboard, and slide rails (didn't bother with all the slats as they won't show) with a dark brown matte spray paint I had, then a super light dusting of black, then a little more matte brown. This just served to take the shine off the copper-looking new bed, and give it a more vintage feel. I held the spray can a couple feet from the pieces and swiped right and left to let the paint just gently settle on the metal... it worked well and took maybe 30 minutes total including flipping the pieces a couple times to get that paint mist everywhere. The other thing I did, which I do to every piece of furniture that comes in the house, is to add protective felt circles to all the legs on the bed. I use a drop of superglue to get them to stick better than the peel-n-stick provided... even if you aren't moving furniture often to clean, you don't want the various metal legs on a bed like this to, over time, dig any kind of hole in your flooring material. Overall- this looks like a great value in a metal bed. It was reasonable to assemble, arrived perfect, and feels a bit heftier than I expected. It now has a great vintage look with my spray paint upgrade, and I think it will be a good sturdy bedframe for years ahead. Recommended... especially for the price!

Beautiful bed!
We love this bed! I must say, I was skeptical about purchasing a metal bed frame.i cam honestly say, it's beautiful! It arrived well packed and not a scratch on it. My husband and I put it together in about 2 hrs. The directions were clear and easy to read. It seems very sturdy as well. The footboard is the perfect height to keep the mattress from sliding around. The best part is, it really is squeak free! For now at least! Time will tell I suppose. We love it!

Very impressed for the $
I seldom write reviews but we had extra guests for the Holidays and no bed in one of our spare bedrooms. I ordered this King size bed for 2 reasons only…it was inexpensive and I could receive it quickly. Hubby and I put it together in about half an hour. No written directions were included but rather pictures which showed each step clearly - which I prefer anyway. Had it not been for just balancing one side while working on the other, I could have assembled it alone. The pic in my review was taken immediately after assembly and adding partial bedding. As it turned out, the extra pillows were downstairs and after it was fully completed I forgot to take a final pic. At this point, I’m too old and tired from a busy Holiday to go back upstairs and take another pic so I guess I’ll just have to ask you to trust me. This is a solid, very sturdy bed which assembled quickly and easily with zero malfunctioning parts. As I said, I seldom write reviews but I just had to for this bed. I would buy it again without hesitation and can fully recommend it. And I will receive ZERO compensation for this review. I’m just a short, oldish, slightly overweight woman in Tennessee who is very impressed with her purchase. Happy New Year! 🎆🥂

Very sturdy!
I have had this bed for a very long time and it’s still holding up. I had it for about 4 years and now my parents took it for their guest bedroom and it has not broken or had any issues. Very sturdy.

Great bed!
LOVE this bed frame! Very sturdy and pretty easy to assemble (I'm a 52 yo female). Very cute "victorian" style, can dress it up with just about any linens.

Great quality
Great quality bed frame. Looks great and easy to assemble. Noteworthy, because this bed is designed for a mattress without a box spring, make sure the mattress you have is fine to lay on the provided slats and their spacing. They measure approx 7" apart. Our new Douglass mattress requires a 3-in span Max. So we laid down 3/8 plywood on the slats
