Does what it was designed to. Not for everyone or everything. Not a "regular" pen.
There isn't anything spectacular to be expected from this pen. Nothing makes it super special, smoother, or more refined than say something from the Dr. Grip series. However, it does what it was designed for. The extremely fine-point is akin to writing like a pencil, but not just any pencil. It is like writing with a mechanical pencils. The mm difference is even smaller than the famously 0.5mm that is still very popular today. So each stroke is extremely fine. At a distance you can barely tell if something was even written, that's how fine your lines will be. This is not a pen for regular use. This is not a pen for clerical use. It is definitely purpose-designed for specific use and that would be for where-ever fine writing is required. I can see the application of this small mm edge point being particularly useful in architectural, mathematics, engineering, and even music composition fields. If you want a pen for regular notation and scribbling, just get a Dr. Grip.

Wonderful pen
Love the way this pen writes. Feels a little plasticky. Looks great on my pocket sized planner. Can't use thick pens in it because it overwhelms the page so this is great.

obsessed, love writing small
some people just have the urge to write small. this pen does such a gorgeous job of it, highly recommended. heavy and firm and perfectly sized in the hand, a tiny bit at the finger grip, almost all of the weight is at the fingers, not at the top, so the fingers have complete control of the pen

Expensive but Pentel Slicci is better
I like to write quickly with tall and thin strokes using the thinnest pens available. I think I like this pen so far, I have several other thin pens including a newly acquired Pentel Slicci 0.25mm and the cost difference between the two are substantial with the Pentel Slicci being much cheaper and equal if not better performance . I am leaning more towards the Pentel Slicci because the body is thin and helps to write more quickly and accurate, the needle point on the Pentel is more rigid and helps stabilize the stroke. I like the way the body of the pen looks and feels, although it's a little too big/bulky for how thin the pen writes. This Jetstream Edge is too expensive and doesn't seem to perform that much better in comparison to make it worth the cost. The tip feels slightly loose when writing on paper so I don't feel confident in my stroke. Sometimes the ink on the Jetstream Edge doesn't appear and simply scratches the paper, it seems sensitive to slight debris on the paper (like when I erase from a Frixion pen and attempt to write over it) - whereas the Pentel Slicci doesn't have the same issue. I've added pictures of comparison between the two pens in this review along with the other thin (and not so) that I have on hand. In order of preference, I am leaning towards Pentel Slicci 0.25mm > uni Jetstream Edge 0.28mm > uni-ball Signo RT1 0.28mm > Shinzi Monpeluche Slim Ballpoint 0.38mm > Frixion Ball slim 0.38mm.

i feel like i can write on rice with this pen
The mm is so small I feel like I could write on a piece of rice lol. heavy body and smooth it hasnt skipped on me yet. its not the pen's fault, my handwriting horrible bc im so used to writing with 0.9mm-1.2mm pens so it looks super shaky lol

product was exactly as stated
it was a bit "finer" than I expected; probably will try the .32+ one next time; nice pen though!

Disappointed.
I cannot believe this. I just spent ten dollars on this pen, thinking I’m splurging a little on myself. NO! This was so not worth it and I wanna cry. I’m a mom. I never buy myself anything just for me. Except the love pens. I wanted a nice pen. To start the barrel is not comfortable. The point wobbles ever so slightly. The ink is not great. It doesn’t flow well. It scrapes along the paper and midway thru the sentence it starts to drag the paper! Like when your bikes brakes lock up on you. It’s just not great. Maybe for technical drawing or drawing super fine detail. Look, I buy pens. That’s my thing. So 0.28 mm part didn’t worry me. I expected it to be fine point. That’s not the issue. Maybe it’s the oil? I’ve never had one before. But it’s not for writing. Not worth the money. And there’s no weight to the pen! It feels cheap.

I preferred tiny ball point as I write small. This feels like a mechanical pencil which I like.

Genuinely the best pen I have ever written with. The thickness of the lines is perfect for my handwriting, and I can't stop using the darn thing. I had read a previous review that the ink in each of the cartridges is low and requires constant replacement, but I didn't really see that. With constant note-taking every day in university, it lasted a solid 1-2 months before needing a refill. My only critique is that you do need a rougher paper sometimes, with very smooth papers not accepting ink from the pen as well (though this could be user error). Overall, I'm buying another one.
