OK so I had to come back on and give another review after a couple months of sitting in my closet I decided to take them out and try again idk how but they actually started working properly and it has been months of constant use without any problems! Just make sure you clean them out regularly I learned this the hard way the top piece that comes off/ where the smoke blows out has developed calcium buildup (best way I can describe it) which has stopped the smoke from blowing out correctly and they don't sell replacement pieces but totally not the companies fault! Great product once u get it working and customer service is GREAT when I had my issues they refunded me with no problem quickly. Literally had this product for 4 days already stopped working. Yes it's nice and big Yes the concept is amazing durability is an absolute zero. Save yourself the headache bad product overall!!!

Terrible product. I got 24 hours of use out of this unit. Following day I went to refill the tank and the entire gallon of water drained out the bottom vent ports. After removing the tank (view pictures) you can see the bottom of the unit is cracked massively - most likely from the heating element. You can also see in the second picture that the plastic cup area that you use for oil scents was melting. This unit has no longevity and should be pulled from the shelf for insane defectiveness. I will say, it blew out the best plum of steam I have seen yet from a diffuser, and I was in love with the tank size so it can last a full day - but overall this was probably one of the worst items I have purchased off Amazon. Stay clear of this item. Also, the LED light on this unit is garbage. It doesn't diffuse the color throughout the entire tank, just a small LED bulb in the front. Way more negatives than positives. Steer clear! I should have listened to the 1-2 star reviews.

I can't express how much I love this product! I got this for myself for Christmas & use it daily. I love that it's a humidifier & essential oil diffuser, fills from the top (to avoid messy spills), I don't have to keep refilling the water through out the day, (I'm a stay at home mom & homeschool, so our house is very lived in & I diffuse a lot and appreciate the lack of dry air when this is on), the output of mist can be adjusted, it has a soothing light feature for nightime, and works perfectly for my kitchen, dining room & living room! I get compliments that my house smells nice and I love that I can diffuse oils that kill the bacteria in the air and at the same time know that I'm humidifying the air, because I live in a dry climate (especially in winter). I must've unintentionally gotten water in the pipe during a refill (while multitasking), because this product leaked. I was disappointed because my warranty with Amazon had just ended a few days prior to this. I decided to contact Blue Hills via email and let them know my situation. They got back to me almost immediately & let me know they're a family owned business and my satisfaction was very important to them. They gave me a few troubleshooting tips & told me to let it dry for 24 hours & try the diffuser again. They said if I still couldn't get it to work, they would send me a new one for FREE! However, this product wouldn't even diffuse at all after the 24 hours and kept leaking, so I let them know & they said I should receive the new one in 3-5 days. I received a new one THE NEXT DAY!!! That's super impressive to me, especially in these unprecedented times, where it seems like everything is delayed in the mail & customer service tends to lack. I couldn't be any more pleased with this product, or the company & I love knowing I'm helping support a family owned business!!! This product is amazing and would make a perfect gift for anybody!

This diffuser is a beautiful design, very modern. It seems to shoot out a lot of mist so the humidity is fantastic. The plastic container It is seems to be good quality.. it is a dark walnut, like it said it would be. However, the only drawback is it is not very bright, the color during the day. So if that's what you're getting it for you probably would not want this product. That is not what I bought it for I bought it for the practicality of what it is. And it definitely stands out with that. It has wonderful instructions, very easy to follow. Very detailed and the pictures you can follow along with it. Kudos to them for who made up the instructions. So, remote control seems to work better than touching the machine itself the remote control comes with batteries. It has an exceptionally long cord. For putting it in a living room or something or a bedside table. It does have mist settings option. It does have timer's options. And for the most part, it does have the options for lights. The box was sturdy and it was packaged very well. There doesn't seem to be any flaws in any of the plastic like scratches. And if this is your first time diffuser, it tells you the do's and don'ts in the instructions. All in all, I think this is a very good product. I would suggest someone buying it if you don't like to keep filling.Your diffuser up all the time I would like to add an update here. It does have the capacity of running for 24hrs straight through.. and at night, the light lights up the whole thing.. during the day, you wouldn't have color but at night, it makes a huge nightlight, and it's very pretty. I included a picture for you to see at night. You would also have to add more of your oils about half way down because the smell goes away. Putting in more oil would just make it stronger for a little while.

Well what can I say, 1st off this is our experience with this product and company. Overall this is an absolutely amazing family owned company. Their products and customer care are 2nd to none. We purchased this 4000ml/4L oil diffuser and and love it's size in comparison to everything else out there we could find, we also love the "mood lighting" as we call it. It is a very, very quiet unit also. We did however have a slight issue so we reached out to the company (through email, on their website) and we were met with a very prompt response and compassion (something that is missing from most companies these days, we believe) The company was extremely fast to rectify our issue and make things right for us (they went well above and beyond, and I can't see them but I'm assuming they did it with a smile) If you are in the market for an excellent large oil diffuser or any other products this company sells please do not hesitate. They stand 100% firm behind their products and commitment to customer service and satisfaction. You absolutely will not regret any purchases with the BlueHills company.

Great product. Came right on time. packaged well for shipping. So very easy to use. I got it and set it up same day no problem. I just had to fill and then I waited 5 minutes for water to drip down to bottom where it turns to vapor. Hit start and away it went. Only CON I have is the colors are very faded. You really couldn't tell the color change. Other than that really great product.

2nd Update: I purchased 2 units on October 13, 2023 and used it right up to March 7, 2024, then went on vacation for 1 week. When I returned and filled it to use again all the water went right through the bottom and leaked all over the floor, 4L of water all over my wood floors. I was happy with it up until this point, very disappointing. I didn't even bother with essential oils, such a pain to lift the entire unit to put the oils in the bottom chamber each time. Update: I’m only getting 2 days with a full tank on the lowest mist, same as what I was getting with my 1000ml tank so not happy, I was expecting 3 days as advertised. I finally figured 50 drops of essential oil per fill but then 1/2 way through the tank the scent weakens and I have to add more, as I suspected. So overall not totally impressed, the mist output is good, but it goes through water too fast. It’s a hassle having to add the essential oils to the bottom reservoir especially if I’m adding more 1/2 way through. It will be good however as a humidifier especially during cold/flu season. I went from a 1000ml tank using 30 drops of essential oil to this 4000ml tank, one would expect to use 120 drops if the ratio is 3 drops Per 100ml. I started with 100 drops and it’s way too strong, I think because all the essential oil is in the bottom tank and not mixed with the water so initially it’s more concentrated, so I used 80 drops and still too strong , we’ll see if the scent becomes weaker as the water lowers. The mist output on this is great, you can really control how much you want, it will be great to use as a humidifier during winter or cold and flu season. Will update this review on how much essential oil works best.

Garbage. Cheap plastic quality. Developed a crack in the base not even 12 hours after first using it, which caused all the 5 liters of water to leak out. Woke up to a massive flood in my room. Don't waste your time with this product.
