First off let me say this seems to be a great product I do like it but when I receive my Porter the corner of the bag was open which I didn't think nothing of at the time until I counted them and was missing three pieces I contacted customer service and was jerked with a bunch of questions they and I email back and forth several times and nothing got done so I'm out three pieces I guess that's good customer service for you

The only small setback to these is they give you no inserts for the tabs. Not that big of a deal, but using normal paper to slide into these was a pain. Wish they provided tabs like normal tab dividers do.

Don't let other posts saying it's hard to do these. Had no trouble printing the index strips. The secret is to slide the magnifier bar out, insert the printed index strip and while hold the strip while you slide the magnifier bar back in. Presto - you have amazingly clean, professional and easy to read files! I really impressed my new manager when she asked to locate some forms. They will make your filing system organized and efficient!

Great idea for aging eyes, but didn't work for me. Tabs are bulky, hard to get in file tabs, print area small & hard to get inside the plastic magnification sleeve. Magnification not very strong. Am using because I broke a couple trying to install, so can't return. Very pricey for what you get.

I read reviews from other consumers then I did my research. I still felt this product is the best way to label and organize hanging file folders because it bypasses the need for vanilla folders with tabs so file cabinet would be able to store more files, while the files are better labeled and without protruding labels on top to jam the file cabinet so that there are no labels falling off. I called Ultimate Office to ask if these plastic tabs fit the pendaflex file folders and was told they do. Not sure why prior review said otherwise. I ordered both black and color assorted so I would use color for the first of its kind (e.g. first bank) then black for all the subsequent banks. The instructions are printing are good (not old programs) but following the direction I could not completely align the labels properly so I decided to just write them with back magic marker. I find the insertion of the plastic tabs very easy....first 1 or 2 struggled but after that very easy as the 3 tabs have different lengths so allow you to insert 1 at a time-clever design. I did not buy the hanging folders with built in tabs they sell since I have a bunch of hanging folders already. I am very happy with my purchase and wanted to post to let others know tabs DO fit very well onto hanging pendaflex folders and I am so glad I found this method to organize my files.Update June 2020: I bought more so I can help my son, a college graduate heading to a new job, start his own filing system with the proper labeling system. My filing system is perfect and working out very well.

I used these to update my hanging folders. They look good but you don't get a dozen and they were a bit of a pain to snap into the file folders. That being said, they do look nice and it does magnify your labels.

I haven't put these to full use because I just received them this week. I placed one on a hanging file folder & I'm loving the bold, sleek new look. I've not printed out the tab-inserts yet. Have to say those are a bit of a challenge as you have 25 inserts on a sheet to fill at 1-pass. So I'm taking some time to outline my file_naming configuration for maximum use. Little task for big rewards.

Easy to see little difficult to load paper into little difficult to insert into files but i like it.
