I bought three of these in last year because I thought they’d deteriorated. Despite using duster before every play and using a stylus brush, they didn’t seem to last long. One time the stylus skated across any record I tried to play. I thought it was new stylus time, but then inspected it with a magnifying glass and there was fluff on it. It took quite a bit of careful brushing with the stylus brush but eventually cleared. After that it sounded amazing again.

I recently got a Sony PS-LX430 turntable from my Dad that I wanted to use as a secondary/backup table. It still had the original cartridge and stylus, so that needed to be replaced asap. I didn't want to spend too much since this isn't my main table, and that's when I came across this. The price ($44) was right, and as a bonus I could even just buy the stylus as it's compatible with the original cartridge on this table. Long story short, I'm very impressed with this stylus. It doesn't sound as good as my main player, as it's a much nicer table and it's using the better and MUCH more expensive AT-VM95ML cartridge.. but at the same time it still sounds fantastic and it's made me question if spending that much money on a stylus/cartridge is really worth it. If you need a p-mount stylus or cartridge I'd highly recommend this one.
