I was hesitant about converting my power connections to power pole due to the price of everything, especially the crimpers. Since I've purchased these power pole crimpers, I've been converting everything over to power pole 15A and 30A. In ham radio, a good power connection can be the difference between making that long distance contact or not and these help. The guide on the side of the crimp head allow you to match the amperage build to the size of the crimping notch on the crimpers. Though be careful not to push the connector between the guide and the crimper, it bends the connector at a 90 degree angle and doesn't crimp anything. Other than my user error, this is a well made tool that has taken a few months of my abuse and hasn't bent or began showing issues.

Needed to crimp some powerpole connectors and these did the job perfectly. No need to buy expensive brand name crimpers unless you plan to crimp frequently. For small once and while jobs, these will work great.

Makes crimping the anderson plugs quick and easy. Just make sure you do not get the plastic wire insulation in the crimp part as it will break once crimped.

I've crimped a handful of 15A and 45A powerpole connectors and I like this crimper better than the one we got directly from Powerwerx. Smooth crimping and relatively low force needed. The connector is held well in the crimper before crimping and the ratchet release is easy to use. Big thumbs-up.

This crimper works good for power pole type connectors. Have had no problems so far and is easy to use. You need this type of crimper as pliers don't do a good job.
