Tensor Calculus: A Concise Course: A Concise Course (Dover Books on MaTHEMA 1.4tics)

Concise but adequate for my purposes
If you like plenty of diagrams then this book is not for you since there are very few. I read it in conjunction with Daniel Fleisch's book which covers more of the basics but I needed further information to address my understanding of general relativity and this book has fulfilled that purpose. It is quite an old text and the symbology reflects that e.g. Christoffel symbols are represented by a bracket notation rather than a capital gamma. There are sections on relativity in the book and I have found them quite informative providing an alternative text to the main book I am reading on the subject.
