White LED Interior Light Kit for Toyota 4Runner 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Super Bright 6000K Interior LED Bulbs Package + License Plate Lights and Install Tool

07 sr5 toyota 4runner (4th generation). Swapped all lights but glove box, since I have no idea how to even go about that. (has like this shield thing that's recessed in a hole. Don't know how to remove the sheild to get too the bulb it hides underneath) plus have 4 spare as I think they replace the ones the limited comes with on the steps. The difference is insane. I still have factory tint which isn't very dark to begin with. And when unlocking, the 2 dome lights light up the entire inside, door lights are super bright as well. As are the license plate lights. Didn't expect much as in store, say walmart or target. It cost about this much just for 2 or 6 bulbs. Not entire interior. Would highly recommend. I broke one dome light upon removel. As I didn't know you pressed a tab to remove it. Instead tried to pull straight down. The other lights take a little finnesse with your fingers, to remove, but it's possible. Sucks though as no way to turn them off when door is open. (especially the door ones) so those were a little hot to remove. The vanity mirror wasn't exactly easy, nor hard. But the cover remover they give you with this set, is far too large. So I used a mini flat head to do those. Broke tabs on both. Since they're not exactly easy to remove in the first place. No matter how gentle you try to be. Also polarity sensitive. So if it doesn't light up one way, simply pull out again, and turn around. All work, all are super bright. Factory was 'ok' but where I live. Gets super super dark. And even with those lights, they appeared dim. Lots of blind spots. Hence the upgrade. These, get virtually everything. Definitely worth the $20, especially when it comes with cover removal tool, instructions (in ENGLISH! That tell you exactly what bulb goes where) for the entire interior (step lights on the limiteds), and license plate/glove box. As for longevity, to early to say. But they are definitely worth the money. I like em. :)

I installed these in my 2004 4Runner and they work great! Kit included all interior lights and 4 for the running boards. I replaced the orginal lights and these are much brighter. Super easy to install too. Replace all four doors lights, map lights, dome lights in middle, dome light in rear, glove box light, four running board lights.... all in this one kit. Comes with 17 lights total. One thing to watch for is if the light does not work, turn it around because they have a positive and negative connector and they may be installed backwards if they do not work. Happened to me on a few of the lights, but flipped them around and works perfectly fine. I can actually see the interior of my 4Runner again... LOL.

Bought a few months ago and was just able to tackle this fun, fairly short project. 2005 Toyota 4Runner. The directions are actually pretty good and mention some need on some of the bulbs to be put in one way or the other, for polarity for the light to work. I knew this but others may not. Diagram is correct on which bulbs go where but one would know that when removing the old incandescent ones. The install tool and my good quality interior tools were not the best choice( didn't work, a very small thin standard flat head screwdriver was perfect. Carefully popping out certain dome lights worked well, nothing cracked. Lights all fit perfectly. They even included the footwell bulbs ( 4 of them) as I have the Limited 4runner version so there are lights on the running boards, others may not have. When you look at the before and after photos that people may provide, it still does not do it justice, the difference is much bigger and nicer in person. The dome lights, door lights, running board lights, vanity lights, map lights , license plates lights, there was even a glove box light i did not realize i had since I bought it used and it was burned out, haha. Amazing difference, so glad i bought. When the certain original lights would dim up and down, these LED's will replicate that also. So much brighter, cleaner and more modern look. I hope they have kits for 2 other early 2000's cool cars of i have, will def purchase. Amazing change and improvement for tiny amount of money and time. Buy them.

I bought this LED kit for my 2004 4Runner to replace the orange/amber interior bulbs. It came with way more bulbs than I needed, which is great in case any of these burn out. The bulbs that the package showed were for the map lights did not fit. After trying to force the wrong bulb in and bending the contacts, I watched a video that showed a different style bulb being installed, that looked identical to the bulbs the package said were for the license plate. I tried that bulb and they worked nicely. While changing the map bulbs, I also blew a fuse (the fuse for the interior lights in a 04 4runner is under the hood, not in the dashboard). So I changed the rest of the bulbs, then replaced the fuse. You might want to pull that fuse ahead of time before changing the bulbs, then replace it afterward (if anything, to protect from shocking yourself). Otherwise, the bulbs look nice. The bright white is a great improvement. I can't wait until dark so I can see the difference.

Bought this kit to replace my previous kit from pfran that was slowly dying. Nice kit, has everything you need including a plastic spudger tool which isn’t technically required but nice to have. Perfect figment and I like the color temperature of the bulbs. Highly recommend for 4th generation 4Runner owners. Easy install and makes a huge difference in daily quality of life

Las luces originales que trae la 4 Runner son muy tenues y e n mi opinión no alumbraban suficiente. las nuevas luces led, vinieron a mejorar bastante este aspecto, tanto en el interior como en el exterior y es muy fácil cambiarlas.
