Good quality objective but it is not DIN standard 45mm instead t has a parfocal length of 37.4mm
I should have read the listing more carefully as I was looking for a 40x objective for a microscope that uses DIN standard objectives, which have a parfocal length of 45mm.When this objective arrived I noticed that it was about 8mm shorter than the other objectives but luckily it fits an old, 1960s Zeiss Jena microscope so it will still be of use. The quality is reasonably good for an achromatic objective and it is precisely manufactured being both parfocal and parcentric with the older Zeiss objectives.
