The dr. Tech WA-1080PC-T is a high performance wireless data logging weather station with advanced sensor technology resulting in good accuracy at a low cost. It provides instantaneous and historical data on Inside and Outside Temperature and Humidity, Wind Speed (average and gust), Wind Direction, Barometric Pressure and Rainfall. The backlit touch screen controller logs 4080 data points with adjustable (5 minute minimum) sample interval. There is a memory meter on the display that shows when the memory is getting full so the data can be downloaded and archived to a computer thru the built in USB port and included free software. The unit has a radio controlled clock (WWVB) for improved accuracy. The controller runs on 3 AA batteries and can be mounted up to 300 feet away from the sensor array. The sensor array runs up to 2 years on 2 AA batteries so there are no worries with mounting the array on top of a building or tower. The dr. Tech WA-1080PC-T comes with an advanced sensor array (anemometer, direction meter, temp/humidity sensor, rain gauge, mounting pole), wireless touch screen controller/display, USB cable for connection to a PC, free software and pipe clamps for mounting the sensor array to a mast.

Multiple sensor problems
The first unit I received, the barometric sensor took a reading when the batteries were first placed in the receiver, and then never updated again unless the batteries were removed. When the temperature outside was less than 36.3 degrees, the outdoor humidity sensor stopped functioning. Lastly the rain gauge registered an inch or more per hour of rain when it wasn't raining. I had to pay to ship the thing back for an exchange, and the new unit had the same problem with the barometric sensor.

S***ty Weather Station
The reason I gave this station a one star review because the software included isn't easy weather but smart weather which is a Chinese rip-off of the main software other than that you cant connect with cumulus to store data neatly and couldn't upload to wunderground properly. S***ty Product bought an ambient one month later and a Davis Pro 2 later on

Dr. Tech Weather Station
The weather station was easy to install, though the instructions may not be so easy to understand. The software it came with was simple but had all the information and was easy set up. It's a great deal with the price I paid comparing to other brands that have the exact same function, other brands are simply overpriced.

Buyer Beware
This unit arrived in a timely fashion and appears to be as it was described. The problem with it is, the assembly instructions and users manual appear to have been written by someone who uses english as a third or fourth language. It is almost impossible to understand. Wake up people. This is America. If you are going to sell something like this your manuals should be in clear and understandable ENGLISH.
