I’m surprised with this deal. I genuinely have no issues with the quality of this product. I’ve got all my little seedlings planted and am waiting for germination to begin. This is a perfect product for hot summers when some seeds require temps of 65-75F weather. Living in Texas is no joke. My poor plants will struggle in this heat. I also think these would be great for classrooms or children as it’s small and lightweight. Lights work great—just be sure to get a block for the USB to plug into. I personally ordered a block with multiple USB ports in case I buy more of these. But you only need one block as there is only one USB that needs to be plugged in. There’s 5 chargers that plug into the lights but it connects with one USB cable.

These are actually a 5 star rating, but not all of the stars will populate - with that said, these are really great, well-made, sturdy and a definite find. I was way behind on getting seedlings going and with this system the seeds germinated within 5 days. I bought two systems of 5. I had a variety of 20 seeds, from alyssum to sunflower and everything in between. Water retention is great, the LED lights are powerful, and the construction is sturdy. I'll be able to use these for many more seasons.

These are really nice. I especially like that there is a dial you can turn to vent it if needed. Germination rate has more to do with your quality of seed but I have been successful with these. I also like that they hold enough without being cumbersome to move. They come with the vented dome and the water tray so they can keep surfaces from getting wet and they are simple to use and clean. All you have to do is to pop the disk into the lid. It opens and closes easily but I had to apply some strength to do it. They are worth every penny and I would order more if I needed them.

These are specifically beneficial for seeds that require light to sprout. While I still use overhead grow lights, the dome lights emit a surprisingly strong light, much closer to the seeds. Certain of my Zinnias can sprout within just a few days. They also feature a unique air circulation design that allows air to enter at two points, at the handles. Good air circulation is required to stop mold growth and damping-off. They have standard plastic thickness and require two hands to move.

I started seeds at the end of April on IL outside and bout inside over night.Finally got this beggining of May 2024ConsNo instructions!!!!Absolutely no instructions came with thisNothing found Omg YouTube, tiktok and Pinterest on how to use these with the lighting along with the “humidity control” “vent control”So I have no idea as a first timer on how to use this for seeds to sprouts needing planted or transplanted.In the beginning I went off research saying paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls used for seeding was great.That’s how I started my seeds before this product optionAdding the paper roll portions with this unit minus the trays caused molding with the humidity level fully closed as research showed seeds need heat over water.I am still starting with this but I have seen options of seed growth can exceed ok this option compared to seed growth rotated indoor/outdoor exct. Not including a grow light option exct.Although I have had to guess on the “humidity conteol” I have maintained seed sprites from before having this option and also seeded a few seeds since having this item.I also hate that this is a “usb plug” so many companies are doing this and it is so annoying. I wish it was a regular plug in verse me having to have a usb adapter to fit this. Yes I can use a rechargeable power bank but I have to pre charge the power bank for max 2 hours of glow from the lights.Also tho unit does not have a control to the lights meaning it’s one option or it is off. So I have no idea what the level of lights in this unit mean as some say “seed” and 2 other options after that as they matureI am not far enough into this unit to say buy it and get everything you expect from it as a 16ish hour run time sounds insane to me for seeding in this unit out of the 24 hours. I never saw anything under 14-16 hours which does not mimic sun in anyone’s yard.Decide as you pleaseIt had kept previous seeds sooRouting that were sprouting before this unitI did transplant a few to this units set up and also hope to start a delay of seeds for my garden this year due to the month and time of year for me here in ILIf I have updates I will add once seeing results I prefer and expectButIf you want to control the light options or time I would advice to find something else as this does not allow any other options other than a plug in and unplug optionNo guidance on humidity control levels for seeding through growth leading to plant.Plus the USB plug verse regular plugs headache and making sure you have an outlet for this type of set up along with the plug in for the usbIf you have an outlet/usb outlet then this should work as it is a standard USB plug verse out the C cable crap options are for iPhone ect.

Amazing find for the price. First time patio apartment gardener and these work great! Easy setup. Keeps moisture really well. Compact. No complaints.

This is my first time using seed starting trays that are this small...I usually use odds and ends that I've collected over time. It's really nice to have everything so organized and uniform this year! I appreciate how the seed tray sits inside another tray, so it's really easy to water from the bottom and then once the watering is done, I can drain the water but put the seed tray back in the outer tray and it'll catch all the excess water drips. The covers were nice, as well, with the adjustable vents, helping to create a greenhouse effect immediately. These trays are pretty small, and I may get annoyed with having to pot up a couple of times before moving these babies to the garden, but so far I'm very pleased with these trays!
